I really dont care about torturing myself to unlock the characters

way I see it there's plenty new from the get go (or after unlocking a couple) to get the hang of them anyway

I mean, i'll get duck hunt eventually by just playing the game and when I do i'll play with him for a bit, but just going through the motions on the first day of the game doing shit you dont want to seems.. silly

super silly. play the game the way you want and have FUN dammit

I love the music player for this. What a great idea to allow it to keep playing in sleep mode.

edit: except I can't seem to figure out if there's a way to just play through everything non-stop. Is that possible?

For Glory mode is such a mixed bag right now. Some of the players can be completely countered by standing still, blocking the incoming dash attack and setting up the mix-up game by shield grabbing them (or in case of lol little mac; throw off stage and taunt). Moments later, a Captain Falcon player appears who chases your ass all the way down to the blastzone while asking you to show him your moves.

It's gonna be difficult to learn this game.

Man just sitting back and playing the game all day, smash run is incredibly fun and good way to unlock stuff along with the trophy rush

I did it after completing Classic with Bowser. The guide I was following said "7.0 or higher", but I did a few continues on Master/Crazy Hand/Core, thus lowering the intensity, and still got him.

Weird as I just did Classic mode as Bowser but I faced off against Dark Pit, though I was doing it on intensity 3.0.

I will try again later tomorrow I need to smash my bed.

Ok I'm really bad, but when I was playing earlier, I could not figure out how to get back to the stage when falling off with Mac.

I have been playing a bunch purely random levels against single random level 3 CPUs so far. That is about my skill level and lets me experiment with different skills.

I have not managed to spike anyone offstage with Rosalina's down-air. I was really bad at getting the spike sweet spot even in the demo.

Question, is it just a CPU thing or is Donkey Kong's side-B completely useless against human players? Even the level 3 CPU (Sheik if it makes a difference) escapes the buried in ground effect so quickly, I can only seem to get off a neutral ground A if I spam the button. There is zero chance of hitting something like a charged windup punch, or a smash attack. It appears to be maybe 0.25 or 0.5 second ground stun.

This is kind of on purpose. Little Mac is great on the ground, but bad in the air. I haven't played him yet, but I think you can side-B and up-B to try to recover.

Ah ok, like I said I'm really bad, haven't played smash since launch week of the Wii version, heh.

Online play with my friends has been about 90% okay and 10% lagging mildly. Much more improved than brawl.

There's my friend code again for anyone that wants to 1v1.

His side-B is a decent horizontal recovery, but if you don't make it you don't make it. You can also fly off the edge with it, so be careful. It counts as a recovery so you'll special fall afterwards

His up-B is useless. Mac is balanced by having atrocious air game

Finally got back home after getting the game. During that time I unlocked Lucina first and foremost.

Who wants to settle this in Smash with me?

Smash Run is incredibly addictive. I could play it all day!

Gonna go on a unlockable character binge...only have Ness, Falco and Wario so far.

I can't.....I never want to play that mode again.
I don't know how people are enjoying something that's nothing more than a 5 minute time waster.

Can you map "Attack" to more than one button?
3DS control customization only allows you to switch what each button does, can't change the function of one button without changing another button's function. The Wii U version will likely allow you to do that.
