Try bumping intensity up to 5 or 6? He was my first unlock and I've never played below 5, but may have been 6. I used Link.

So after a morning of grinding and kind of getting used to the feel of it, Captain Falcon is standing out as my man. Not terribly surprising, but I really like how he feels to play. Clicked with me really quickly. I very, very much miss his nipple spike though.

ZSS less so, she feels pretty different in Brawl and PM. But I'm getting used to that and have comboed sandbag basically to death, which is a big improvement over where I started when I couldn't hit it twice in a row due to the timing being so off.

Only tried a few other characters, and none of them are really clicking with me.

Haven't played online yet, maybe tomorrow. Can get my butt handed to me by people who have practiced against real people.

Is there anything you can do against projectile spamming? I'm specifically talking about Link. He's just throwing boomerangs and shooting arrows like there's no tomorrow, and I (playing mostly Lucina right now) am having a lot of trouble even approaching.

I've had the game since Tuesday, btw. I'm really surprised by how well everything works.

So I beat All-Star mode and two things.
1) In the Bowser Jr. Section, they used Larry Koopa instead which was hilarious.
2) Each character has a unique trophy. So that means not only beating Classic Mode but All-Star Mode as well.

To unlock the other challenges you need to get all 35 in the first board then a fair few in the second to unlock the third.

Can't remember what characters to unlock, it'll come naturally as you unlock all the characters though.

There's only 35 * 3 challenges ? didn't brawl had many more of them ?

Try increasing the difficulty. When I unlocked him with Link I was playing at 6.5. You could also try using Zelda or another Zelda character

Playing Smash like normal, using C.Falcon. Never expected that Falcon Kick to kick Luigi to death... upward???? he was like at 100~%. In brawl it didn't even kill at 200% IIRC.

I've been trying to play as every chaaracter, just a 3 stock match with no items on an omega stage to get a feel for them. My favourites so far from who I've played are Samus, Captain Falcon, Marth, and Little Mac.

I tried him out very briefly in training. It seems like if you can get some great recovery if you aim him upwards a bit with his Side B, then use his Up B. Does this hold up in matches?

UGH!! I hated it in Kid Icarus Uprising and I hate it here. I hate it when you lose at a certain intensity, it automatically lowers the intensity for you when you try again. I do not want you to make the game easier for me. I want to try again at the intensity I requested!

Does Master Core start appearing at level 5.1? I fought Master+Crazy at 5.0, but then Core at 5.5, starting in sword form. Or is there some other requirement?

The more I play this game, the more I'm sad that it exists instead of Smash for Wii U being available right now.

Bummer to write it out like that, but there it is. For me, this is pretty much just a $40 demo for the console version.

Maybe I'm just cranky that my hands hurt after playing it for an hour.
