Super Smash Bros. for 3DS |OT2| Nintendo All-Stars Battle Quarter Pounder

Looking at some alternative control options for the 3DS and someone told me about this.

Has anyone heard anything good about this? Or do any of you guys use it? I may order it sometime this weekend.

I actually tried something similar in order to cut down on hand-cramping. It worked pretty well for a while, but it had a kind of greasy feeling to it (silicone stuff tends to do that) and started to loosen up around the 3DS after using it for a few months. It definitely helped, though, so if this one is good enough quality, it may be worth trying out.

I don't think I paid more than a couple bucks off of eBay, though that might have been why it didn't last
 
This game man.......so good

I was pretty disappointed that the Green Hill Zone had the Sonic Adventure song, but it was still kinda funny regardless. Didn't realize it also had the OG Sonic 2 one, when it kicked in during an online match it was an awesome surprise. Also (I didn't play Brawl, I'm sure it was similar there) but Sonic controlling just like he does in the 2D games is such a nice touch

Pac-Man is a bit odd to play as since he's a bit more sluggish but he's super charming (like pretty much everything else in this game)

ZSS is fun, super fast.

Link is my new main, fast and hard hitting. The Dark Link costume looks great too

Samus was a bit of a disappointment for me. I played as her in all of the other games, but she just seems kinda dull in this. It may be because I got used to Link during the demo but yeah, I can't see myself using her in this.

Smash Run with Captain Falcon is awesome, his Up + B is perfect for it

Online has been pretty good for me so far. At best it's near single player quality, at worst it's comparable to 4 player on Smash 64.
 
So I have two hammers and two challenges left on this page. Do the hammers transfer over to the next, or should I just use them?
 
I don't get it I beat classic mode with 6 unlockable characters and it doesn't let me fight ROB. Isn't that what you're supposed to do?

Is there any sort of My Music mode in this game or no?

Thanks. Glad to know its better than Brawl at least, but sad that it's still not perfect.
 
So after days of waiting I finally get my hands on the game boot it up and do training mode only to have the rubber of the Circle pad come off because I have spider powers. -_-;

Then I fixed it and made all my taunts Frozen related with the hashtag #ElsaforSmashBros

Dang, I guess that would happen from eBay. This one on Amazon is $12 though so it doesn't seem to bad. As long as it's comfortable then I think I might get it, thanks!

Two quick questions :

- How to unlock other tiles of challenges (I only have 35 right now)
- What are the ??? characters I have to unlock for the first set ?

I have 30/35 and cannot fond how to unlock more challenge and which fighters to unlock.

How do you tell how bad latency is? I can't really see much, and that's with my dorm's shitty internet.. I guess theres some imput lag but it isn't too bad.

To unlock the other challenges you need to get all 35 in the first board then a fair few in the second to unlock the third.

Can't remember what characters to unlock, it'll come naturally as you unlock all the characters though.
 
I freakin' love Villager!

One For Glory match, I pokected a Greninja player's water shuriken and tossed it at Mario, KO'ing him.

Won three or four FG FFA matches with both Kirby and Villager.

Only with a 2 vs 2 it dropped like to 5 fps. It remembered me the Wii version. Perhaps it's because I'm in EU and it was worldwide match. Dunno.
