So I was checking my 3ds settings to make sure I had the patch downloaded and upon restarting my 3ds the light comes on but the screens don't turn on...

Smash Run is quite fun to me. I just wish that I didn't have to do local only to play with friends.

Also, I have a question about my experience with the game last night. How did I activate Ness?

I did my first VS match and then did Classic Mode for the first time as Greninja. After that, I defeated and unlocked Falco. I decided to do another VS match and after that, I got challenged by Ness. That is where I got confused since I haven't done enough VS matches or done Classic Mode twice. I did two more VS matches and there were no challenges after those.

I think Ness has lower priority than Falco but has similar requirements. ie Falco is beating Classic Mode without continues and Ness is just complete Classic or something like that

I believe it's automatic. There's a 500 coin limit and I checked the vault before I did anything and had 500 already.

The game outright says you can influence the direction of your knockback. Not just angle, but direction of the knockback.

Well got this this afternoon sat down to play it about an hour ago and well....i'm disappointed.

I didn't look into the game too much wanted to jump in all new without much knowledge of it and all characters being unlocked and no story mode like brawl had has straight up saddened me wtf are you supposed to do? where is the fun value here other than doing the odd match?

Also you can tell the 3DS struggles with this game. it takes ages to get the home screen to appear and when the game closes the whole screen goes black after it goes to the homes screen and then it comes back up.

Beat Classic with 8 different characters. Can confirm it's different characters and not 8 times.

Jigglypuff, however, was "Beat Classic 11 times" for me because she was determined to get in the way of my unlocking of Bowser Jr.

Way more content than most fighting games, especially on a handheld. No regrets here.

Though, the "Hoard" trophy view is a little unsightly, but I also understand the limitations of the hardware.

Smash Run is really fun so far.
