I think he meant as an stage boss too, since in the jap version I just played on the megaman stage, I have only seen the yellow devil, but I thought ridley was one, no?

I thought it was mostly because the statement sounded weird and the grammar structure was a bit off. They still say the same thing, but now it's clearer and easier to read.

Anybody have an update on Best Buy having those Smash coins for those who preordered during E3?

I'll be picking mine up at 2:30. I would hate having to argue that I was supposed to get a coin.

I went to the E3 day both days, but when they switched the coin thing up to many red flags in my mind that I shouldn't because actually getting my coin will be a hassle. I'm probably wrong, but oh well.

Hope you achieve success in getting it!
 
to those wondering about the coin at best buy, if you pre ordered during the special event then you are getting your coin(unless your best buy doesn't follow directions and just gives them out to anyone that buys the game) there was a list of people and once you pick up your game you get your name crossed off

but fuuuu should have pre ordered two copies, i pre ordered a wii u version that day and don't think the coins will come back

they said to me that it was only available to those that pre ordered the first day, i can tell many people will be mad today

I'll be picking up my copy around 5 or 6. I'll damn well be arguing with them if I don't get it, since the place I pre-ordered it at is about an hour away from my home.
 
Just started playing it on the bus this morning after downloading it last night. I'm moving it so far. Sonic got a huge buff over Brawl. Still, I'm much better with Mega Man than with any other character so far. My only concern is how much it kills my 3DS battery. I'm not sure it can last my whole commute.

Thanks. I'm just afraid about arguing. Out of my family of 5 I'm the one who tries not to make to big of an issue of stuff. I'll of course make a protest but I never push pass an initial rebuff or two. I'm dreading this encounter.

Edit:

That sucks. I was lucky that the Best Buy they chose this year for my state has always been my local Best Buy. In fact it's about 2 minutes from my college. Oh well a little less than three hours left for the moment of truth for me.

I think it mainly has to do with touching up stuff grammatically. The original description sounded more "telepathy helped or hindered the romance," while the post-ESRB one was "telepathy helped or hindered the relationship." Making it an outright question also makes it sound a little more innocuous compared to them highlighting any weirdness about telepathy's romantic applications.
 
I am quite impressed with the online code for this game. Did a transatlantic Smash with another Gaffer, and it ran beautifully. That's a quarter across the world.

Did Namco use the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 online code, or something?
 
This friend code thing is prehistoric.

Played a few round with Ron but then we got disconnected. My lag wasn't ideal at the best of times but falling off the level twice in a row was my fault entirely.
 
After a certain GAFer (forgot who sorry) let me know of a link that said I had speedy internet from 2AM-8AM, (I usually have like 0.14 download speed) I stayed up, and downloaded it just like that in around 25 minutes. Wow such a difference lol.

...I then stayed up until 5AM playing a few Vs Matches against LV1 computers relearning some of my old mains and of course newcomers, a couple Classic modes, and a Smash Run. I am glad to say that I can get into Robin's playstyle! I really dunno if I can get into Rosalina's tho. Greninja is cool. And after the demo I reqlly thought I would like Link more than Toon Link, my Brawl main, but nope! Toon Link still rocks!

Unlocked Ness and Falco. Will be practicing more today and hope to unlock the rest soon. So many characters to try! So many awesome stages and music! And the other single player modes while I wait to the day we move to a place with better internet! I think I'll wait till I unlock all characters before doing All Star. Feels weird otherwise.

Also I love stats and you can see how many matches you played by character which is just awesome. You can even see how long you played each character as well. So many stats.
 
My sister got us two copies this morning but now I have to wait until work ends today to play. :( The struggle is real, looking forward to reading all of your impressions while I cry over these important work documents.
 
If you need some Miis for Multi Man Mii, throw in these guys:

Inafune, Kojima, Nagoshi, Mikami, Kamiya.

For the Mutli-Man Miis, they only pull from Miis on your 3DS and not in your plaza, so try to add a lot so you can see some diversity instead of fighting yourself over and over again.
 
Just got a copy from Best Buy. There were only 4 or 5 left if you didn't pre-order. Now only about 5 hours until I can play...=/
 
I will definitely be jumping online tonight so I will add a bunch of you. Will post my FC later on as well.

On a side note, does anyone know how to unlock
Flat Zone 2? I thought the only requirement was to unlock G&W but after I got him, I still didn;t get the stage
 
God damn this game plays so good. So fast fluid and responsive. 10x better than Brawl. Even more impressive when you consider the hardware it's running on.
