I didn't know people played Nintendo games over here so I thought I could just dance into a store and get it.
I'm really glad I didn't watch move videos for a bunch of the characters or watch a ton of matches before playing the game myself. Getting surprised by the changes to moves and move properties for my old favorites has been really fun. Like Shiek's new Side-B, for example. That seems rad. Also it is going to take awhile to train myself to remember that she has a Down-B now.

holy shit this fucking game. absolutely one of the finest pieces of software created by man in existence.
Went to my local Gamestop at midnight. I was 6th in line of about 25 people. Played some demo matches with the guys in front of me. One of the younger kids kept asking if they could sell it to us early and after awhile the guy snapped and told the kid he was going to cancel his preorder if he doesn't stop. At 12:01 they open the door and say "we would like to sell you the game, but someone hid the games. We're going to find it asap and sell it to you". They found em about 5 minutes later and we were good to go. Played a couple of local matches with the guys again and got out of there. That was my first midnight launch ever lolol. Pretty fun experience.

Oh, I know. Every move has to be super-precise. Spacing with turnips helps a little, but he still punches through a lot of them. The one thing Peach has against Mac, though, is aerial prowess.

So far I've unlocked Dark Pit, Wario, and Ness.
Ness was beating Classic with Charizard, level 3.
Wario was beating 100 man melee
Dark Pit I'm not sure, I was playing Classic with Charizard level 7, beat it and there he was, I got to retry 4 times until I beat him, I changed the last time into Pikachu and it still appeared.

Not to ruin your drunken fun, but you're actually wrong. Keiki Kobayashi composed the main theme. I ended up meeting him the other day, and I basically gushed to him about how much I love it. He even let me hear the original version of the theme!

Second online game, 1v1 from same country, perfect. Not ironic "Nice"
The Ice Climbers were cut because the 3DS wasn't strong enough to have them. Dr. Mario got in for roster padding.
Only had the game an hour or so. Played a few online matches and it was like wading through molasses. Perhaps it was due to playing people far away. If anyone in the wants to add a fellow UK/EU player my 3DS friend code is 3866-7996-5565.

3DS limitations is why Ice Climbers are gone. Dr. Mario was probably a costume at one point (like Lucina) but changed later on.
I was hopin the multi man melee Mii's would go off of your Mii plaza. I only have one Mii in my Mii maker so that kinda sucks.
Wish I could import the Mii's I made in Tomodachi Life into my Mii maker. Why did I make them in-game and not in the maker? Would make the Mii stuff in this a lot more fun for me, but ah well.
Also does anyone know if the challenge board stuff applies to online? Like it the board says win two games as Zelda in Smash and I do online I'll get it? Kinda wanna get in on this online action, but I dunno if I should bein so tired.

I can't imagine how the Ice Climbers are that much more taxing for the hardware than Rosalina and Luma, who technically operate as two separate characters in battle. Oh well.

I'm not real knowledgeable on game programming, but I don't see how Rosalina isn't as taxing as the Ice Climbers, when the climbers are identical while the other two are completely different.
I view Luma, Pikmin and the Duck more as "items with faces" while Nana is basically her own character. Who knows what caused the Ice Climbers not to work out though.
