Man, I don't get any of the anti-hype that surrounded the game in this past week, game is beautiful, incredibly fun, I can't believe I now have a portable Smash Bros. game, aaaaaaaaaaaaah it's awesome!!!!

Picked up the game at midnight from a grocery store. There was only three people after me, and I was first in line. Been playing it ever since. SO GOOD! SO GOOD! SO GOOD!!!

I'm trying every character. Going in order of the roster, I'm now at the Pokémon. So far, really impressed with Yoshi, Sonic (picked him out of order), Diddy Kong and Zero Suit Samus. I never really cared for the latter two before, but they're so fun in this game. ZSS is especially crazy -- she can stun people, spike them with her kick, and has the coolest dash attack ever.

Also, Golden Plains really surprised me with how fun it is. (Playing on the normal versions of stages, with items off) And Kongo Jungle and Mushroomy Kingdom both look fantastic in 3D. They feel like entirely new stages!

Well, back to playing!

So how does Nintendo's account system work for 3DS? if I buy this game digitally on my 3DS, if I get rid of this 3DS to get the Super Smash 3DS XL, can I redownload the game on my new 3DS or do I have to do something special to do it? Or is it not possible at all?

I'm so in love with this game. It's dangerous. I'm so conditioned to think of Smash as something that requires a television, controllers, and the presence of three friends. Online this good on launch day? Dangerous. Dangerous.

Those and the Dragoon are probably the most obvious framerate drops. They're more of a slideshow than an animation.

But hey, the fighters have a solid framerate 100% of the time, so I'd say it's well worth the price.

So I played online 1vs1 in for glory, is random this bad? I won with Samus mostly because most of my opponent for some reason like to run into my fully charge shot. Online is so much more playable than brawl. I have to test 4 FFA online to see just how decent it is.

Definitely got some lag on that. I guess not picking stages with busy backgrounds is a good rule of thumb for 4 FFA.
