I think conquest mode just keeps track of the win/loss ratio of certain characters over a period of time and compares them.
I think the patch is for the physical version as well.
So you can download the patch before you actually have the game...for some reason, that just doesn't sound right. But I guess it works because its on the SD card separately.

hope they throw ya a bone in which you don't have to unlock all the characters again if you already did on 3ds.
will the game be up midnight pst or est?

That's not complete though, there are lots of weird random unlock conditions that people don't seem to know yet.

Yeah that definitely might be a problem.
Since it was sounding like at first we were going to see a worldwide launch or close to it.
I really do think it's the Amiibos holding stuff up.

It's always been Winter 2014 though. October 3rd is apparently Summer 2014. I wouldn't be concerned.

Still nintendo is just odd like you mentioned with Oct being summer.

It implies that you'll be able to play smash on the go, and smash at home, so please buy both.
If the 3DS version is the actual key to to unlocking some Wii U content, it'll be the "Sakurai Confirms _____________ because of the 3DS version" thread that I actually get mad at.

The term "Holiday" when referring to November-December isn't used that much in Europe, if at all.

I hope they don't mess too much with the balance. The game is already well-balanced and doesn't need any major changes.
Iirc, the JP came with a downloadable patch, but was in the cart version.
If i'm wrong, I apologise, but I'm now downloading the patch.
Any idea what it balances?
I believe its 2 hours in the other direction. So 10pm.

I guess they removed the glitches rather than balancing characters, inb4 Link got nerfed
Eastern Time = 12am Midnight
Central Time = 11pm
The one after Central (Mountain, right?) = 10pm
Western Time = 9pm

Yep:
- Enables online multiplayer features.
- Adjustments have also been made to balance the game and make for a more pleasant gaming experience.
Already fixing some exploits/bugs I would think.
The ZSSxRobin infinite, LittleMacxWario Guaranteed KO, others need to be re-checked.
