Seeing as the game doesn't have an intro, there's no point in doing so. Perhaps the curse will be lifted with the Wii U version.

i'm pretty sure my circle pad on my 2DS will be done in a month and I just got this.. Can you buy replacement pads? i'm not being excessively rough with it its just i'm worried I'm gonna be in a online match and it's gonna get so heated it might come off.

I pre-ordered with Amazon Prime 2 day free shipping in mid-September. No status update beyond "pre-ordered, guaranteed delivery Oct. 3rd". My other items almost always take 2 days after shipping to come in so I canceled.
Went to BB and they confirmed having almost 100 copies in the back (apparently more than normal game shipments). I waited for a while but to no avail, they checked the release date and could not sell it. Pre-ordered at gamestop who're doing a midnight release.

I really do wish Nintendo would have funded Sakurai's plan. Split the development in half is of course going to limit the amount of new content. Makes me wonder how many original stages on the 3DS we would have gotten if they waited to make Wii U Smash until 2015.

Fuck Smash, Mother 3 would be released worldwide, that's FAR more important than a silly smash character.
Jigglypuff can crouch under tons of moves and Rest punish like she could in Melee

Nothing wrong with fan service. Makes games like Hyrule Warriors really fun.
Aesthetics, characters, and all that is a part of game design. Gameloft games are pretty good but because of the purposely designed generic characters, they're not very fun. As an example.
Don't think it's the right way to criticize a game by not counting the fan service as part of the game's appeal.
This was the correct answer.
My decision to main Jiggz this time around continues to be justified.

The tears of the hardcore Melee people are delicious. The more this game is like Brawl, the better. By far, the superior video game.

Thinking of possible DLC choices, I always thought Tharja was one of the most popular Fire Emblem Awakening characters, but apparently she's 11th? Seems, at least in Japan (aka relevant to Smash), GAIUS is right behind Chrom and Lucina for #3.
Have to say, a thief-character would be cool in Smash, atleast from a casual perspective if he had a move allowing him to snatch items out from players.
