If anyone knows a place that breaks dates in the Austin area, holler at me. I usually buy digital on my 3DS but I will make an exception if I cam get this early. I wanna play :-(

I don't know what it is about certain European countries (and Canada), but broken street dates seem to be MUCH more common in those places...

Honestly, it doesn't look too bad. The only character he showed in that montage that has a grab release -> kill move that could be considered upper tier (from what we can tell this early in the game's life anyway) and thus would be in featured heavily enough in tourney rotation to make Wario mains reconsider their choice in character is Zamus.
The worst part about these grab releases is the waiting for Wario to break out. All Warios should learn how to super mash for the benefit of us viewers.
It wasn't a clean combo, there was an instance in the beginning where he could have freed himself from it. Don't know why the hell he didn't.

Ganon is the only character on that list who remotely qualifies as "major," and he's technically already in the game.

Don't ever go to Amazon if you're expecting early delivery. Ever. They will (in my experience) never dispatch earlier than a day before release.
The result of this often being that the game is late. ShopTo all day long, doo dah.

Yeah, I never had a Nintendo game this year get release date delivery from Amazon. They are pretty good about it for other games though.
From my experience, Best Buy is the big chain retailer than tends to stock the quickest. Gamestop and other stores tend to have it but do not put up display until the late afternoon.
Not expecting early delivery, one day won't kill me, but I do wish they'd begin to prepare packages sooner, rather than later having a lot of delayed deliveries.
Granted, they always come on release day for myself, but still.

I remember when they didn't get my Mass Effect to me until the Monday. Never gone with them since.
I'd say Paper Mario and Issac are the only two people I feel are missing. Issac is certainly debatable, now that his time is up. Paper Mario has been a stable franchise for Nintendo, and while it's another Mario, it's still a completely unique moveset that could be pretty great.
Other than that, we're probably reaching. Hell, Issac is reaching, I'll admit that.

I know he'd technically be a third party character even though NOA published all the games over here, but I would've loved to see Layton as a playable character.

Yeah I think Layton would be a great addition, though his chances may be diminished with his series likely being over.
Given the Mario representation already in the game, Paper Mario would be overkill.
Remove Dr. Mario, problem solved.
Honestly, would anyone really care if Paper Mario added another Mario? He's totally unique enough to be separate.

Yeah, in terms of characters, Paper Mario being left out feels odd considering he is more relevant than Dr. Mario.
I think it is a real shame Chorus Kids were left out because Rhythm Heaven representation is not out of place. Hopefully we will still get music remixes for the events.
I also think Dixie should have been added as well.

Those games seemed cheap to make and consistently profitable. When Level-5 needs some extra cash, I wouldn't be surprised to see a sequel trilogy in a few years.

I'd be down with Paper Mario.
He certainly has potential if badges are thrown into the mix as attacks. Final smash could be super nova from TTYD.

Yeah, of all the possible Mario clones, Doctor Mario is probably the lamest. Paper Mario could actually have way more of his own unique moves, based off of his attacks in the various games.

I remember once reading a moveset where he'd summon partners from the first two games as his main repertoire of A-Attacks (such as using Watt as U-Air or Koops as D-tilt). That's always really stuck with me.

I would love that, especially if it involved the return of adult Luke. Actually, I don't even remember if that was really him or not. I don't remember the end of the Unwound Future.
I'm more disturbed that his forward aerial can spike so easily. Probably won't be as effective on human players.

This is cool and something I can live with especially since I main DK, Bowser and if no Ridley and/or Dixie later then Charizad.
As far as I know Metaknight isn't the only one who can get characters into a jab lock. This in Brawl along with guaranteed chain grabs just ruined parts of the game for me.

Does anybody know if you can transfer downloaded games from one 3DS to another? I'm strongly considering buying this on the eShop so that I'll always have it on hand to play other people, but I want to be able to move it to a new 3DS if I get one of the new models.
Dixie Kong is probably the biggest newcomer omission for me. Between DKC2, DKC3, and the DKC animated series, she was really well-known among my group of childhood friends. I don't know if Dixie Kong is truly recognizable or if I'm anecdotally inventing her fame as a result of growing up with her games, but I'd definitely consider her an "all-star."

I used to play some pretty good people and one guy could consistently do this to me. He'd walk me to the edge of the stage and smash me away like it was nothing. Brawl was my favorite mostly because of the characters, music and stages but there was some real BS we had to put up with on the side of exploits.
