To the Japanese Charizard player I faced in 1v1;

CHARIZARD'S >B IS FLARE BLITZ. THIS HURTS THE CHARIZARD.

That is all.

Ran into a JP user who spammed flare blitz and rock smash over and over, not realizing they racked up their own damage percentage by themselves.

But you're in a Smash thread, where people seem to consider Yoshi its own franchise and made a big deal about the his spot on the select screen. So by that logic, Peach has appeared more times than Bowser because Yoshi's Island is not a true Mario game.

One of the challenges is 'Beat Classic Mode with all characters', but it won't unlock, despite me having finished Classic with EVERY single character (all 49, including all three types of Mii Fighter). Don't tell me I need to beat it with all the Bowser Jr alts and the Alph alt as well :/ (Especially since the Stadium-based challenges didn't even need the Mii Fighter to unlock the "play with all" challenges.)

There's also a challenge for having played the game for ten collective hours. I've played the game for around thirty hours now, fourteen of which have been in-game/in-battle. So, why won't this one unlock as well?

What am I doing wrong? What have I forgotten?

Glad I got Hyrule Warriors to pass the time, but now I realize there's so much shit I want to do in HW it's gonna compete with Smash for me.

Of course, because it's not like it's called Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island or anything.
 
As a digital download, Smash Bros takes up 2.1 gigs, right? How much is that in terms of blocks? I have 9,499 open blocks on my SD card according to the Data Management menu on my 3DS.
 
I always love this time period before a hot game comes out with stores breaking street dates.

I think it actually only takes up 1.2 gigs. 1 GB = 8,192 blocks. You may just squeeze by, not sure of the math on that.
 
Okay now we just need to know when US retailers get their copies, if someone finds out let us know, or if someone breaks the streets date here :p I'm on the hunt for an early copy xD
 
I'm pretty sure there's at least one place here in the city that has already/is going to break the street date, but I don't know of any :(
 
Once upon a time there was a store called Funcoland that tended to sell games one or two days early here.

Then they became GameStop and suddenly became anal about everything. :(
 
This is the one problem I have with Amazon. Please ship early Amazon I beg you. I would do terrible things for an early shipment of smash 4 pls ;_;

Probably not, but I can see them revisiting that cast of characters. They could easily have Lucina and her generation be the main characters.



AC has outsold Kid Icarus and probably Star Fox. It is also probably near Metroid, if it hasn't already surpassed it. New Leaf has sold about 7.5 million copies. It is certainly one of Nintendo's top tier franchises now. They could pull so many characters from that game alone. Nook, Isabelle, KK Slider etc.

Lucina is a significant side character in Awakening. Chrom & Robin are the leads. If that changes to Lucina leading in the next game rather than a new cast remains to be seen.

Omg dude, I live in Miami too, that's awesome. And I got Mario kart 8 early here in Miami at a sears (well in Hialeah actually) so hoping to get lucky again!! We should get in contact and work together on this xD

Almost positive I faced that exact same player yesterday morning, haha.
 
I live in an area with no small game shops so I'm not even getting my hopes up of finding a copy. A few days of waiting is worth it for the digital copy for me, I'd never sell it and I'll never have a cart to swap or loose.
