Same roster and mechanics, different stages, different modes (Smash Run). Only two music tracks per stage. Assist Trophies and Pokeballs only spawn one at a time. You can't adjust the item spawn rate.

The stages are definitely different between the two, although there could be other differences as well. We don't know much about the Wii U version.

Thanks for the answers. I tried the demo it looks good but didn't like the controls. Might get the wii u version.

I would love to see what custom moves folks here are looking to try out. For anyone who doesn't know, a full video set of custom moves is available here:

Lucario Aura Sphere custom 1 and Double Team custom 2

One feels like if it still remains even after contacting with a shield, then I might be able to pull off some Dhalism shenanigans.

The other, actually looks like a decent counter.

Rosalina Star Bits custom 2

Because using that on the edge with Luma looks like its going to be fun.

So is it confirmed that the game is only 16,800 blocks? I was trying to rush DKCR to delete it and get some space for Smash because I heard somewhere in here that the game would be like 31,000 blocks (yeah, I know), but it backfired and I started to like DKCR a lot, making me want to delete Kid Icarus: Uprising instead, in case I need more space.

The Japanese release was somewhere between 9000-10000 blocks, don't know the specific number though. Western version will likely be around the same size.

After watching full footage of Rosalina's customs (thank you SO much Ninjalink), I feel like I have every one of her specials thought out in my head:

Neutral Special 1 - While I feel like Luma Warp (neutral special 2) is going to lead to some shenanigans especially with the next special, I feel like precision Luma positioning is too good to pass up on and both of the other specials trade that away for other benefits.

Forward Special 3 - It's a near full Battlefield fast moving projectile with Melee Falco laser hit stun. This move is going to be superb especially for people who get Luma positioning down.

Down Special 3 - Setting up Luma to intercept moves while Rosalina punishes sounds like fun. At the same time Down Special 1 could be used often enough by myself.

Up Special 3 - I've never been a fan of pure recoveries. I like having some reversal capability as well as a hit box to make people respect. Also helps that this can be angled better and gets a good amount of air anyway.

This is kind of a random question, but do you still fight characters to unlock them if you're playing local multiplayer matches? I'm assuming you do, but I didn't know if waiting until you disconnected since both systems could be on different unlocks.

So, I guess I could talk about my thoughts on Little Mac's match ups a little bit.
I think Little Mac has a lot of trouble against the following:
ZSS: She's got range and is easily the best character at spacing Mac out, as the stun on her gun often stops Mac's super armor. She can also combo for long enough to outlast his KO punch, she's got great grab range which is troublesome for Mac, and she's pretty good in the air.
Wario: The bike will often override Mac's armor and he's also great in the air. The bite is also a very effective move against Mac.
Yoshi: Yoshi's move that lets him lay little Mac as an egg will oftentimes kill him if used on the edge due to his terrible recovery. Also, Yoshi has projectiles that travel in an arc, meaning Mac can not always run right under them like he does other proectiles. But, he also has super armor on enough moves that it can be troublesome for Little Mac.
Dedede: I can't put my finger quiet on why he gives Mac trouble, but he just does. Maybe it's the range? He can also blow Mac off the side and then gimp him. It's probably the range and the gimping abilities.
Other Little Macs: Little Mac dittos are honestly really hard for Mac, and can also feel like cheap contests consisting of who rolls better, counters first, or is lucky enough to hit with their KO punch first. However, they're completely even matches, but they're hard to learn because you can't exploit some of Little Mac's cheaper tactics like you can when going against a different character.

Definitely agree with you about the bolded matchups. The foolish ZSS will just paralyze -> dash -> paralyze -> dash ad nauseam, so it's not impossible to deal with so long as you're careful and quick about countering. Normal players, however, have far too many options in terms of spacing. She also manages to shut down his super armor, leaving him helpless in many situations. Likewise, Yoshi's aerials and double-jump super armor make it really hard to land hits. At the very least, most (all?) of his aerials can be stopped with a counter, but they're frustrating nonetheless.

I've also noticed that nearly everyone with projectiles in For Glory just starts spamming them the instant they see Little Mac. I nearly turned off the power several times--not because I lost (I actually ended up winning most of those matches), but because it was so annoying.

Good Greninjas are annoying as Little Mac as well.
The mediocre ones you can just hit dair with super armor or downB, and counter through Water Shurikens up close. But the good ones are annoying.

Definitely dunno how I feel about Dedede, he's just a scary character in general in this game. Gordos you could hit back, but Dedede once he gets you to a decent percentage can get Little Mac off the edge in a number of ways....Gordos, dthrow to an aerial move, dash attack, etc. Dedede's new dtilt is interesting too.

That's not even the most annoying thing that happens online when playing as Little Mac. The most annoying thing is when they lose and assume it's cause Little Mac's OP and not cause they're ass at the game, and then swap to him. Then they usually get their shit wrecked, but they'll still get one lucky counter and feel like they're hot shit.

Although the worst players online are players who swap to using exactly the same costume as you after a match. Fuck those guys.

I'll note that why I don't think they're a bad match up, I think Marth and Lucina are annoying, because it becomes a game of counters and grabs. And even though Lucina and Marth aren't melee-Marth level grab range, it's still a decent range.

lol, yeah I experienced these. Definitely 2 stocked many Little Macs who clearly don't know how to use him, usually with KO Punches. My favorite one today was just me walking up to them and pressing neutral B.

The other day I had someone see I had the KO punch active and just shielded, not realizing that the KO punch breaks through shields.

That would have been me a few days ago until I picked him up (started using him to counter a friend's Rosalina since he can punch Luma far away and usually kill him before Rosalina can get started).

It's also apparent how many people just mash A to get back onto the stage. Well timed charged smash or spot dodge -> KO punch. People need to roll, jump, drop down and attack...whatever, they just need to be less obvious so I'm not just punishing it with dsmashes over and over.

So how good is Palutena? Thinking about maining her. Also will main Ness again (well.. I would main Lucas but he got cut...)
I haven't used her customs much, but default Palutena has not impressed me. She's a lot like Zelda:
Slow, long range attacks
Predictable recovery
Medicore projectile
Good reflector (hers is worse than Zelda's)

Oooh, I hate that. It happens a LOT when I play Little Mac. I tear them up with the pink sweatsuit, and then next match they just start flailing on me with their dash attacks while wearing the same outfit.

I've also had a lot of Marth/Lucina matches that turn frustrating really quickly because of their counters, grabs, AND shield breakers. It's not impossible, but like you said, it takes quite a bit of finesse to work around the disadvantages.

Two characters are selected. Whenever someone uses one of them in For Glory, that character gets a win. The character at the end of the conquest period wins.

It's not only 2. Last time for example it was Wii Fit Trainer/Little Mac vs Samus/Megaman IIRC.
