Unfortunately so. I think a PC release would be cool, but my hopes are not up. If it gets a PC port, however, just give me DS4 support. I can't effectively play an MGS game without a Playstation controller.

Yeah plenty of retail games that aren't from valve can be registered on Steam.

Civ V had it and it looks like Beyond Earth will as well. I hope that MGS1-4 do come to PC so that I can play them all from one place instead of on different formats.

The games are unlikely to support the DS4 officially (off the top of my head, Transistor is the only game that does) but you can get around this quite easily.

Not to mention the erratic framerate (and on PC i'm sure it'd be even easier to cheat than all of the exploits back on the PS3) and input lag at any time with any more than 8 players. No thanks. At the very least MGO2 needs to stay dead unless they went back and fixed all of the problems. Which is numerous to say the least.

Yeah, probably because of the hit detection/interpolation of the netcode data.


I loved it too. Ugh, it was SOOOo good if not for all of the technical issues. and some other stuff.

1500+ hours i'd gladly give away again if they re-released for PS4 with stable 60FPS and none of the old issues. No way for people to abuse glitches, upload speeds or whatever.
