I didn't like the cover at first but its grown on me. Maybe its because Yu taking up 50% of the cover is hilarious to me.

Why have him as DLC at that point then if he's gonna play a part in the story and have a moveset and everything. If you don't fight against him then it's fine but if his data is all there then the DLC thing just makes no sense.

Good edit. I ran into that problem with spoiler tags recently. I was so used to just clicking through them to reveal the parts of posts that people have arbitrarily hidden to make their posts interactive(?), and next thing I know I've stumbled on a bunch of plot points for Divinity: Original Sin. Bleh.

Do you mean the fact that he's day 1 DLC? Well, yes, he's available to play as day 1 DLC in North/South America from what Atlus USA is doing, but it differs somewhat in Japan since he's just included as a DLC code in first-print copies to entice early buyers.
No release date as of yet.

Any chance of an US and EU (lol) version of that special edition with the P4A story mode? Never played the first game since I live in the EU and got tired of waiting...
Apparently, there are currently no plans for a limited edition release of Ultimax in North America (EU remains to be seen, since they got one for P4A despite NA not getting one), but I would not doubt us getting the Episode P4A DLC.

Not quite accurate. He'll probably be less of a problem at lower levels of play because of the oki nerfs he got.
I just wanna say that this made me laugh out loud. Never been able to figure out that dumb spoiler thing either so encouraging post clicks is probably as good an explanation as any haha.

However for the first week in NA, everyone will get a chance to play him for free.
Paid DLC really does fuck with fighting games too much. If PSN trophy sites are any indication, only 5% of the playerbase purchased Kokonoe for BBCP, for example.

No, the first week is a permanent addition, anyone who clicks the download button for the first week gets him for free forever, there is no bonus included with the first run NA copies.

Looks awesome, it is a busy and someone complained that it looked too much like a poster. In my eyes that's what makes it look great, it's like a poster for a fighting match. Also hard-faced and shirtless proswagonist with the Teddie belt is brilliant, makes the whole thing very comical. I was hoping that they'd use this cover for the west when it was first shown a couple of weeks back aha.
