It's kinda surprising (but maybe not too surprising) to see all the "this is gonna be so messy, just call it Justice League already!!" comments when it was already announced that this and JL are shooting back to back -- with these other heroes as just cameos in BvS.

Interesting. Momoa seems a solid choice but I know that Warners have/had 'big plans' for Aquaman which suggests they might try and really push the character in the Justice League movie and then his own spin off films.

I'm not sure I can see Momoa headlining a 'AAA', VFX heavy tentpole himself as Aquaman but you never know.....,

I could never get behind those Matt Damon as Aquaman rumours. The rumour that was going around years and years ago (before Marvel even started their own 'universe') had Damn playing

Given that Damon and Afflecks' production company, Pearl St based at WB, is actively producing an adaptation of Ed Brubaker's Vertigo series Sleeper I'd have thought that if he was going to be any DC movie project it would be that.

Last I heard the Green Arrow is superhero prison project 'Supermax' was still very much in play. If Warner's want to launch a cinematic Green Arrow that's different enough from the TV incarnation that's probably the way to do it.

People were swearing up and down that Days of Future Past was going to be a distasterous cluster-fuck because the cast was "too-big", and I think that movie holds the current record for shear amount of GAF crow eaten over one film. Who cares how big the cast is? If they're used well then it shouldn't matter. For all we know Aquaman is a glorified cameo.

Hitflix confirmed that he's not going to have a major role in the movie so we should stop throwing around "bloated" and all those same posts that happen with every announcement related to this movie

I can see how a Cyborg (or rather, Victor Stone) cameo would work, but Aquaman? Does he have a human secret identity in this universe? Does he just randomly swim by in one shot where the camera goes underwater?

Geez, WB, I have enough concern about how Wonder Woman and her attendant supernatural elements are supposed to fit into this movie already.
