What time did Berserk air? was it just that the station it aired on didnt give a shit? Because my memories of that show was that it was really, really violent. I'm sure the manga was probably worse but, yeah, if Berserk could do it +15 years ago im not sure what the deal is with jojo.
The Berserk anime was also heavily censored compared to the manga.
But I don't know what channel it aired on, that could of made a difference.

That was back in the 90's where they were a lot more tolerable to animated violence.
Err.. I'm pretty sure no one here catching up the Berserk anime TV when its aired on Japan TV like now we got with streaming access, for all we know the censorship might also this heavy and the retail version is clean from that, but then again the anime not really picture all the gory part in the manga and fairly tame.

So how come they haven't tried the private jet route? Just them and a pilot from the speedwagon foundation.
From this episode we know its possible that the pilot could still be compromised but I still would have tried it first before going with a boat.

Well I imagine that if they were to have stand troubles in the sky, which they would let's be real here, it would be a much worse situation than on land or sea.

point 1 is remedied with a private jet and point 2 shouldn't matter if they're in a race against time to save Holly
And being stranded in the middle of the ocean is also a death sentence, they would be starving to death if that giant ship hadn't luckily showed up.

Pretty good version of Dark Blue Moon, I always loved Jotaro's smoke trick and his one liners with the Captain are so dumb and enjoyable. Jotaro is obviously too hardcore for TV! I don't know why they had to settle for a ridiculous black smudge over his face but I guess that's the cheapest option.
This episode stand could swimming in underwater, would flying stand is out of stretch?
If the plane exploded they can't escape like that.
There's a lot of plothole that Araki made but I don't know why we must hung up with this one.
I'm pretty sure none of the characters will get into a plane with Joseph again.

they even didn't think a swimming stand was possible until this episode, it stands(no pun intended) to reason they also probably didn't think a Superman-esque flying stand is possible
to make things clear, if they had given the reason that there were afraid of a flying stand blowing up the plane than I would buy it, but the reasons they gave for not using a plane again just screams, "use a private jet".

I'm just a bit confused as to why these dudes are serving Dio. There's the flesh bud thing, but his "charisma" isn't much of a reason, so I'm interested in seeing if that's explained more further on.
I wasn't necessarily expecting a new Tarot user every week either. Apparently, the core crew has been assembled, so I wasn't certain if the structure of new enemies like that would continue or not.
