I've gotten a lot of compliments about my handwriting, specially how "nice it looks for a guy". I don't see anything special, but I've definitely seen some terrible ones. Write a small phrase, not just a word, so it's easier to get an idea of what your handwriting looks like, and post a picture of it.

My handwriting is notorious for being chickenshit. In fact, I have gotten bad grades multiple times when i was young due to it. People can easily tell who i am based on my handwriting lol

Sometimes it's neater, sometimes it's sloppier, but that's basically it.

Funny enough, you can spot an error in my handwriting sample if you look carefully. I was about to write scratch out the word but decided to just keep writing.

To this day, I'm still not 100% comfortable in writing with a pen despite buying a variety of them for personal use.

Yep. I also naturally learned to not push my hand down so hard when i write.

With me, smudging only occurs with shitty pens or after writing half a one page essay with pencil

Sloppy as hell, but I figured it would make more sense to show my three styles at the speed I would normally write them. If I go slower, and use lined paper, they look better.

I think one of my favorite things seeing in these kind of threads is how a good number of people use a cursive "Y" despite printing.

It's kinda neat actually.

Since kindergarten taught everyone to write Futura, that's still pretty much the foundation for my writing. I don't know how people consciously go out of their way to write letters differently. Then cursive came along and caused all my letters to unintentionally link while still being legible roman letters and not that frilly cursive nonsense.

You know, it'd probably be kinda fun if we could but at the same time, I'd be scared.

Official Threads would actually be kinda epic if it was handwritten, would probably cut down on a good amount of verbiage actually.

I actually wrote almost exclusively in cursive throughout most of elementary and middle school.

In high school, I started writing like this. And it stuck.
