Very nice. Not sure what else to say right now. Have to watch Girls and process it with the portion of my brain that doesn't need to be paying attention to Girls to actually watch girls.

One thing right off the bat: I guess
we'll just have to wonder about what happened to his daughter

Thats a wrap, fantastic ending.

That whole light and dark exchange between the two of them was basically the foundation of what this series will be

I think Rust needed to have died but that was fantastic. I was screaming for his life in carcossa and when Marty showed up i was ecstatic. Great show, great story.

She was never a relevant character though.

Pretty much was just Marty and Rust with Marty's wife getting filler.

Probably just to parallel the case, and alluding towards the schools being involved in some way.

What was Rust's last line about the darkness/sky, how Marty has it wrong? Couldn't make it out.
Marty said that darkness was winning against the light. Rust is saying that the sky started out as dark and white appeared later, so light is winning.

First time I remember a character agreeing with people who say this.

Someone's gotta have a gif of Marty's last vision.

What were those last lines?

Once there was only dark...

I can't catch it.

Man.....when Rust finally shows his humanity in discussing his dead daughter......the feels. Fuck.

Amazing fucking show.

Fantastic finale...super fucking tense and just so good.

Though I missed/couldn't hear literally the last line Rust said...about the dark and light/stars...could someone please post it? Thanks

Well Marty basically said the darkess overwhelmed the light, then Rust said he was looking at it all wrong as once upon a time there was nothing but darkess. Basically, "it's getting better".

As great as the ending and overall show was, it seemed pretty unrealistic that they survived. I mean how do you survive an axe into your chest??

Yeah, I'm guessing that (and Maggie's behavior) were just one heck of a good red herring.

Solid series. Best show on TV right now. Finale felt a little flat, but maybe that's because the rest of the season was so phenomenal.

Gonna be hard to top that next season

Sorry if I'm stepping on your toes man I am just in awe, I'm all over the place. I thought my man was dead and it felt right and they ripped him right back out into life.
