The Chinese release with Asian voices is coming this Friday. I'll probably be buying that so I can play through with Japanese voiceovers.

I have no experience with pre-ordered PSN releases, but is there a standard time on release day that they become available for download? Is there a pre-load period? Or will it just be when the store updates (if it's on a Tuesday, e.g. Dark Souls 2)?

What's weird is that it's still featured in the top bar, but when you click on it, it's there, but you can't buy it. BlueMaxima's video makes it look a little different than Mahjong Royal Towers, but ah well -- saves me $5, so that's nice.

So, what's the verdict on Basement Crawl? I've heard the online is broken and there's no singleplayer? Anyone having those issues?
Downloads are weird, FFXIV beta gave me issues. The data kept getting corrupted for me when I got to around the 1GB mark. Had to restart it so many times.

Well, you could only pick two games and a lot of people went with LBP, Wipeout or inFamous. And that's not to mention the PS3 sold something like 30-40 million units since that hack, I'd bet most PS4 owners never played Dead Nation.
I did play it but it's a great game and I lost my (locked) save to a dead PS3. I'm actually looking forward to playing it again.
(oh, and as for Rayman, I meant to tell you this: you should probably focus on the "Never ending pit" challenges for the diamond cup - they don't require incredible skills, just patience and focus to not make any mistakes. Any of the 'go as far as you can' challenges should be good candidates though for that same reason).

The top scores for those are always like 4000 ft or whatever and I'm lucky if I can make it to 800. :lol
So close to finishing most of this game. I only have the Back to Origins and about 4 of the crazy annoying 8-bit things in livid dead party (that one with the pixelated mess is annoying when it zooms out...).
Most people I know, who had at least 1 account during the hack, generally had some extra regional accounts, my gf had an account on my system, etc. So I think I got all the games that I didn't own. The thing that sucks is if it's cross-buy, like most of the ports to PS4 seem to be, that anyone who took that as their freebie (or bought it on sale) is getting the short end of the PS+ stick.
Under features it says: "Please note that the languages are all to be confirmed on release date!"
I wouldn't buy it just yet.

They've already broke mine when Agito might be released for the West and DQ staying on mobile and Nintendo platforms.
That's also one of the reasons I did not gave in. I'll inform you guys come march 18 if they really are in English.

The Crackle app sometimes takes a long time to load after a commercial causing the video and audio to get out of sync.

Still no release date for US. And we didn't get the crossover DLC for soul sacrifice....
We haven't seen updates for Destiny of Spirits for a while, the only thing we know is SCEA is bring it over.

As far as I understand the situation, no.
The only options are:
1) english voices/english subs
2) japanese voices/tradittional chinese subs
3) japanese voices/japanese subs

Why not? SS sold pretty good. Now the vita userbase almost doubled since SS, the vita image improved, the gameplay changed to reach some MH fans, graphics are much improved, and review scores are higher.
I think that 250k LTD is possible.

Got it today and played on the commute home (about 1.5 hours). I like fighting games and the DC Universe about the same, meaning that I enjoy both, but I'm not the biggest fan of either).
The graphics are...serviceable, probably on the better side of serviceable. There's a story mode that I'm enjoying. You watch a cut scene, which leads to a fight. Repeat. The cutscenes are rendered in engine. The models are given more detail which would lead to a seamless transition in theory, but in practice the framerate takes a big hit. It doesn't effect game play, so not a deal breaker, but things could have been optimized a lot more.
The game runs at a good framerate with some drops when there is stuff going on in the backgrounds.
Each character has a decent amount of moves, although it's not as deep as some fighters I've played where you have multiple combos and fighting styles.
Arcade (Battle) mode has a ton of options, so that's neat.
I like it for $15, but I'm glad I didn't pay much more.

I wouldn't be shocked if SS Delta doesn't make it overseas and I don't think I'd really care either way. Apparently it only sold like 70k in all of 2013 over here.

That's what I was afraid of. Unfortunately I was a cheap bastard and didn't get a tracking number or insurance, so I'm just going to have to wait. I messaged Nippon Yasan support, but I doubt they can do anything for me.
I'd be happy if SS Delta even does 70k first week in Japan. SS Delta is getting almost no hype compared to what SS had.
