Why would you get your hopes up like that for something you know won't happen?
I think the plan has been to include Bryan into this match since shortly after the Rumble, it's pretty obvious from commentary and actions that there would be some shenanigans to cost him the match here and insert him to make it a three-way.
Hell, I even put it into my EC predictions (as well as Wyatt interfering on Cena), so I don't think many people aren't expecting them to add Bryan to the title match and likely winning for that Benoit moment.
Which means they won't do it.

I think Bryan wins the title tonight on Raw. That way Batista can still win the title at Mania like he was guaranteed without rioting during the main event.

Won't matter at that point. Its at the end of a ppv and Batista would be a heel anyway in the feud.
Angle returns tonight, wins title, knocks Batista out, WM main event is Angle vs Bryan in a 60 minute iron man match...with commentary by CM Punk and Jim Ross.

I have never seen such a wrestler so over with the crowd get such a snub. The guy is on the level of Rock, Austin when it comes to being over with the crowd.
To top it off he's booked as pretty much the number one in the company. He's beat Cena clean. Beat Orton a bunch of times. Yet it leads no where....except a match with Kane, oh gee.
