OK. Jennifer Lawrence... I think that most of the young people in our church saw Hunger Games. And I think they all liked that... She just kinda bursted onto the scene, didn't she? She doesn't have a very long film career, does she?

She got nominated for some awards a couple of years ago for Winter's Bone.
Oh! That's her? Winter's Bone rocked! That was a great flick.

I like Winter's Bone quite a bit. I think she did a very nice job there. Yep.

I just wanted to know what you thought of her.
It doesn't matter what I think of Jennifer Lawrence one way or the other. That's not what the League of the South is about.

She's an actress. I don't really know much about her. And I don't really have any opinion on her one way or another.

Let me tell you something about her: she was friends with this kid who had Down syndrome before she was famous, and now that she's a big star, she's still friends with him. She like, sends him signed posters and calls him and stuff.

I don't get what this is even doing. I could see if they were doing kind of something irreverent to be funny, but this just isn't even funny. It's nothing.
 
I think GAF should start a database of every person and organization in the world and we would just go around collecting people's opinions on Jennifer Lawrence.

What is so hard to understand? The premise is that everyone loves Jennifer Lawrence. The article seeks to discover if even hate groups love Jennifer Lawrence. Even if you don't find it funny, it's not hard to understand the premise.
 
I'm always amazed that someone like the Westboro guys even watch movies. Wont they have to burn in hell for watching those sin flicks?

That requires one to first know that everybody loves Jennifer Lawrence. I did not know that.

It's subversive. Either they answer and de-fabg themselves or they don't and it makes them seem like they have no awareness of anything outside their bubble. These are not well rounded, whole, three dimensional people. They're cardboard cutouts.

It's high farce because it juxtaposes the serious and the unserious.

It's a critique of celebrity culture and is self-deprecating in that celebrities don't matter and what you think of them doesn't matter and there are real things going on in the world.

It's a tall guy getting out of a tiny car or Marco Rubio getting a dry mouth in the middle of speech, it's levity, and it's irony.
