At some point gamers will grow up and realise that art direction and simply noting how appealing something is to the eye is a better way of judging graphics than scrutinizing an image to figure out how much processing power would be needed to create it before deciding on visual appeal.

Just seeing this gif makes me want to play this game, lol. Looks so good. What a cool looking world they've crafted. Can't wait to try this out on PS4.

Pic in OP looks absolutely awful, compression and awful textures ahoy! But to be fair, I think TP is a pretty good looking game for what it was; a Gamecube game. Sure the textures could have been better, but I think the art-style more than makes up for it.

I remember seeing this pic in a magazine after CES 82 and was frozen. Stared at it for a good 10 mins before I dashed home, got money and bought it. Man that was a bomb ass issue. Stampede, Barnstorming, Sea Dragon, The Mask of the Sun, Communist Mutants from Space, Oink, Karate. Bare shit.
