Nvidia, Intel and Microsoft will be presenting on the 17th. Actually I would've expected AMD there in general so maybe it's a bit peculiar (at least interesting) MS is essentially acting as some sort of pseudo-representative (officially or not) in AMD's stead for this?

Anyway it should hopefully provide some further system architecture info. Anyone know if this stuff is being streamed? It's not like they can go there in person, right? Maybe they'll just do private video conferences?

Ah, cool. Hotchips is news to me, probably because I didn't start venturing outside of following gaming events until a few years ago.

I'm pretty interested in Xe as well, seems to have a lot of hype behind it.

Very possible. I'm hearing some people say the XSX releases first and then Lockhart/Series S in November, so a two-month stagger. Don't know how true that is; at the moment I'm not even considering Lockhart as something that'll actually release, at least not this year.

Regardless it seems they're on-track with whatever their plans were so COVID-19 wouldn't have impacted too much anything they had coming this year, same for Sony. It's the 2021 stuff that could end up hit somewhat hard.
