Xbox President Sarah Bond may be hinting towards some new Xbox 360 backwards compat titles

And hundreds upon hundreds of those are redundant yearly sport titles or racing or just games with third party licensing. Nothing else you can do at this point.
True, but there are 100's which are decent to great games only available to play on the Xbox and/or Xbox 360. In fact, I still have my 360 hooked up just to occasionally play those games I cannot play on the XSX.

And we all need the following games released:

Psy-Ops
The Suffering
The Suffering 2
The Thing
Man I remember back in the day a coworker let me borrow The Suffering and it freaked me out bigtime. I much prefer horror games and games with horror elements where you can defend yourself and try to survive compared to what became popular during the Outlast Hide & Seek trend. The Suffering has such a dark atmosphere that feels so oppressive. Being trapped with a bunch of serial killers and granny shaggers was creepy as hell. I might have preferred the monsters tbh.

I'd be thrilled if they add titles apart from the Activision stuff. There is still a lot left to pick from.

I own the one crash game digitally from the 360 store (it was a OG Xbox game), I wonder if that would pop back into my account if they made that back compat?

I'm not that knowledgeable on this stuff, but couldn't they just release an emulator with disc support? They wouldn't have to worry about rights if the games are not digital.

They still have to make certain the legal aspects are in order for MS to republish the digital version on their server for people to download when they insert a disc.

I really want Ninety Nine Nights and JSRF.

They couldn't get the rights to make JSRF backwards compatible for the past ten years.
Now that Sega is doing a reboot, I'd say there's even less chance of it.
They'd have to buy Sega. And even that probably wouldn't get it, since it's likely the external music licensors that are the holdup.

That's what I was saying, would it be possible for them to skip the digital version and just have it disk based only and emulator handles the upscaling etc automatically?

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

Damn, I forgot the Fatal Frame Xbox 1 ports aren't Series compatible.

They were compatible on the Xbox 360 version of the emulator :(

I would also love it if the Series consoles had the same BC as the 360. For example, you can play Scarface, and Burnout 3, on 360 but not on Series X.
