He's a moron and has no clue. Like I doubt he looks at NDP. Where Resident evil, monster hunter world were charting and selling primarily on Playstation platform.

There is a ton there. It is silly to think there is nothing that Sony wants from that because they have "divorced" being Japanese. Actually, that is just idiotic fanboy ranting. I'll leave it at that. You can't talk to people like him.

You all need to move on now, PlayStation has moved on, they've left Japan. Japan market has moved on too. The divorce is finalized, sealed. They're over PlayStation, just look at weekly Famitsu software ranking

There's lots of great Western developers Sony could/should be buying, They should focus on them
According to you Team Asobi, their XDEV team, Polyphony, their Japanese 2nd party games with people like Kojima or From Soft, their deal with Kadokawa and their shit ton of 3rd party Japanese exclusives plus all the Japanese multiplatform games don't exist. You reject the facts and the reality. Ok.

Im reading now that Sonic Mania was made in Australia?
How do we make this happen with other games?
Mania was made by big Sonic fans, plus SEGA has a history of working with western devs.
Sonic 2, 3 & Knuckles and Adventure 2 were developed in the US. and western studios made Sonic Spinball, 3D Blast, R, etc.
Nintendo also does something similar sometimes, currently having Retro Studios (Metroid Prime, Mario Strikers, Donkey Kong Country Returns) being in Canada and Mercury Steam (New 2D Metroid) being in Spain.

Because Kutaragi wasn't involved in console development anymore at that point and no way Sony was gonna let him after how much the PS3 cost them.
Making smart decision by asking around third party devs doesn't make it more American or less Japanese.

Yeah sure, asking for feedback for a predominantly majority of american third parties does not make it more american. I guess it makes the console more Soviet or Argentinian.

Not surprised at the sight of Xbox fans trying to convince people Sony and PlayStation aren’t Japanese and that therefore karaoke expert Phil Spencer is ready to talk shop with a Japanese publisher, while Jim Ryan couldn’t even pin point Japan on Google earth.

Playstation as a brand may be more popular in the west, it does not negate where the console is designed, and who the parent company is and where they come from.

It's like people dont understand Japanese software has increased in popularity over the years in a wider audience. Not everything mind you is a big hit WW or even in the states. But dragon quest, FF, Resident evil, Guilty gear, atlus titles do well in other places outside of Japan.

ANd outside of Japan Playstation is actually bigger. Home consoles in Japan generally have been on the decline since PS3.

Dont really care who the dev is , or where they're from - as long as quality games are coming to GamePass, im set.
