Ever heard of personal preference? You seem to have it yourself by prefering a controllers in games like this, imagine if the situation was reversed and it had bad controller support and it negatively affected you. I am sure youd be perfectly fine with that and that there would be no hypocrisy, right?

Nioh 2 didnt have this problem, so i imagine most people assumed this game wouldnt either. It will most likely get patched soon so its not that big of a deal.
Its far from the only or the biggest problem the game currently has unfortunately. Hell, i think its one of the smaller ones myself (i am used to bad mouse controls from Nintendo games), but its unusually common in the reviews that this thread is about.

Playing an action game with M/KB is almost as bad as having AIDS.

Just tried the game on my PC and it runs perfect, no stutters, smooth, its not even that demanding.
I am playing at vsynced 60fps though which is supposed to fix a lot of the problems on PC. I'm also only in the starting area so i dont know if it gets worse later.

There’s no fucking way unless you explicitly picked the new wave of shit ports and that only. PS5 equivalent settings has been found time and time again to be in 2060 super / 2070 range. Even an Intel Arc 770. DF Richard’s build is roughly $800-900 depending on deals and part selection.

I played Nioh 1& 2 on PC well after initial pc release and saw no issues.

The Ninja Gaiden ports in general are a turd.

This game I’ve had no issues with except two things:

Cutting the bamboo trees caused a bug to make the game run in slow motion for 10+ seconds.

It has crashed a few times but luckily never at a really important part. Usually in town for me.

I’m not getting stutter on a 3080. Is the game just hit or miss on certain cards? Or is the gamepass version somehow different than steam ?

On the topic: I get the review bombing on the PC side, it's not hey characters vo is bad bombing, Second major release with issues from KT. I do see the genuine reaction with this. They still haven't fully fixed Wild Hearts , I understand two different developers but the QA is being missed here, step it up KT both games are great but get your QA department in check.

What in the world are people smoking in here, been playing fucking 3rd person action games with mouse and keyboard since the 90's, heretic 2, jedi academy, tombraider and a bunch of others. It works perfectly fine and even has some pros, like I can still move in souls games when changing quickslot items because i don't take my hand off the mouse like you do with a controller to use the dpad with default setup, and I don't have camera issues most controller users bitch about because I hardly need the lock on. It's not like we are asking for them to add bloody assists so we can make the control setup work like you have to for controllers on fps games, we just need basic functionality, that you know, has been around for 25+ years on the platform.

Did you even read the link. The game locks to 720p if certain display devices are active. I had to manually go and disable parsec in the device manager in order to even select 1080p (which still won't let me go higher) . Which means it's a shit port considering the 2000 other pc games I have played haven't had that issue.

Get off your high horse and understand the game should work flawlessly from a controls standpoint as a fundamental standard as that is the first point of interaction with any game. My game started up with Japanese menus.. I struggled for a while.. And then the second WTF was the Playstation buttons on screen instead of Xbox buttons.. That's so fucking "lazy devs" I have no words.. Trying to learn the game with wrong buttons was confusing. So I guess I was already annoyed at that time. But I uninstalled when I met the "tiger". PCMR people demand absolute perfection and feel they are entitled to it. Any tiny issue that 99.9% of the people overlook will be put under a microscope, enhanced and butchered. Also, if their PCMR works as good, or is just a tiny bit less good than a non-PC console or accessory you have to scream murder, and covertly leave bomb reviews to try to kill off any competition.
