So, all of these sequels have shown gameplay now.
None of them have shown all aspects of their gameplay, but it's fair to say what you see in a gameplay trailer will be close to the full release's gameplay loop.

Which of them has shown the most significant improvement in gameplay for you?

Dying Light
2014

2021

Total War: Warhammer
2017

2021

Horizon
2016

2021

Far Cry
2018

2021

Ratchet and Clank
2016

2021

Improvement could be the removal of unnecessary or unfun gameplay aspects, the addition of complementary systems, the addition of extra AI tactics, or scaling up enemy count or whatever makes the gameplay more interactive (or fun) than its previous entry

Skip to the middle to find the actual gameplay in most of these trailers. Surprisingly very little 'gameplay' in gameplay trailers these days

Looks the same but prettier.... which is kinda what I'm after when I buy a sequel to a title I already enjoyed.

Gameplay hasn't been limited by hardware for 2 generations now.

But it's still quite satisfying to see sequels improve on what they can.

I'm hoping for flying mounts in HFW...
