i've been curious about the state of some industry personalities as late, particularly the 1up crew

shawn elliot, shane bettenhausen, jeff green, ryan scott, jeremy parish, garnett lee, mark macdonald, so forth ...

i know some ventured into game development, not followed any closely enough except for elliot on twitter who appears to be the lead game designer on bioshock next (transitioned from level designer)
