What are the games you have tripple dipped.

I bought Demon's Souls back when it was only available as an Asian import, because everybody said it would never get a Western release. Then it got an American release, and I got that, since everybody said it would never get an European release. Then it got an European release after all, and I thought I might as well get that one, too.

Got Platinum trophies in all three, too.
Demon Souls made me buy the PS3 back then. I was disheartened learning I had to import, and I did. One of the best games I ever played. It was janky but the good kind of janky.

There are some games I buy almost every time they come out. Comfort food favorites like:

Another World/Out of This World (Genesis, PC, mobile, Switch, PS4)
Rez (Dreamcast, PS3, PS4, PC/VR)
Ikaruga (DC, PC, Switch)
Doom (DOS, Windows, Switch, etc)

I also triple dipped on Tales of Symphonia because I bought the import before I knew it would be localized, then the US version, and then the PC version.

I can see buying games from one generation to another (Xbox360 to Xbox One) or console to handheld (Xbox One to Switch) but why buy same-gen console copies?
It's on a case by case basis and you may not agree with me, but in the first half of 360/PS3 generation I was an Xbox guy then swapped to Playstation. I bought a lot of games again like Bioshock and Oblivion when they were on sale for my PS3.

The crazy one was Dark Souls 3. I bought on Xbox One because I could get it early off the Japan store. I'm a huge fan so I bought it to play early. I pre ordered on PC through CD Keys because it was hella cheap and the best version at under £20. I also bought on PS4 to play with friends.

Some of it is justifiable in my opinion, but some is just utterly stupid.

Megaman Legends (and its sequel)... I have the PSX, the Japanese PSP version and the downloadable PlayStation classic on PS3 and Vita...

I would quadrupole dip if Capcom would make a Megaman Legends Collection already.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis, GC, 3DS)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3, PC, PS4)
Stardew Valley (PC, PS4, mobile)
Final Fantasy V (SFC, PSX, GBA)

There's probably a bunch of others if I think about it, since I've bought a lot of game collections in virtual console games, but this is a list of at least more memorable ones.

Really only versions of Street Fighter II including SF II Turbo for the 3DO even though I never owned the console.

I've bought every Resident Evil that's ever been released for any Playstation console. Have RE versions for Gamecube/Wii floating around also.

I’ve double dipped on a lot of games but triple?

I think RE4 is the only one I’ve done that for.
-GameCube original
-Wii version for Wii aiming and bonus PS2 content
-Xbone version for 1080p/60fps

In the future I may do it with Skyrim on Switch (if I can find it for a decent price, which I doubt) and Metroid Prime Trilogy HD if that ever materializes.

Final Fantasy IV - Snes, Super Famicom, PSX Eng, PSX JP, Android, Gameboy Advance
--- if you count the 3d version add DS and Steam

FFVI, SNES, PSX Eng, PSX JP
RE4 - Gamecube, Wii, PC
RE5 - PS3, 360, PC

Duke Nukem 3d.

Pc, ps1, ps3, ps4, switch, atomic edition, plutonium pack, steam

King of fighters 13

Ps3, digital ps3, steam

King of fighters 98

Ps1, ps2, ps3, ps4, steam

And many more!

GTA V - PS3

ANDS

King of Gaslighting
HADES. Wish it was originally release on consoles, however I didn't mind playing the game as it evolved from EGS (hate the storefront) to STEAM (try not to PC game if I can) to console.
