Alright. But all I was saying is the only crime he committed, that is provable and not circumstantial, is child pornography. Which should be all that he is charged for.

I mean, he could just have been talking a bunch of shit to a interest pal, with no real means or intention of carrying out the plot in question. Am I wrong, I don't know? Any of us could sit at a computer desk and make crazy shit up with best of them, doesn't mean we would actually carry it out though. And I can already tell you that will be his defense in court, no matter how articulate his plot may be, there's no way to prove he had real intentions. Just from a legal perspective it might be difficult to do anything but require a mandatory psychiatric evaluation from what they found. Maybe he had a few screws loose but nobody but a qualified doctor should be making assumptions on his mental health based on what somebody writes or says, especially heard through the grapevine of the internet.

That's fine and I agree unless there is more evidence that could likely be the verdict. You're initial post came across a bit Defence Force-ish.

As sick as he is, I don't see how they could sentence him for that. Being sick fuck isn't a crime and the article is worded in such way that I'm not sure he actually child porography on his HD, instead of just picks of kids tied up. Unless they prove he made preparations to kill a specific kid I don't how they could charge him. Could anyone knowledgable about american law comment on this case?

Ugh...I...wow...this just...wow! It worries me that this isn't isolated and that there are groups of people who discuss this stuff. I mean, just how common is cannibalism? I know the Carib tribe, that I trace back to on my father's side, used to be cannibals, but there seem to be an unusual amount of these crazies popping up around the world. It's just such a bizarre thing to do. I mean, describing the taste of different body parts? That guy should never see the light of day again. PEACE.

Yeah. He was targeting a specific kid and planning how to kidnap, kill and eat the kid.

They'll arrest someone in a sting for arranging a hit even though the hit hasn't happened too.

I am by no means a supporter of the death penalty but how can you read this and not instantly think that the only way to deal with someone so.., mentally broken is to line him against a wall and shoot him?
