9th Dawn III: Shadow of Erthil is a huge 2D open world RPG and a collect-a-thon style dungeon crawler packed full of adventure. Get ready to venture across the fields of Ashwick, snowy regions of Halstorm, dense forests of Vlak, and perilous Hollow Mountains of Scorn as you embark on this epic quest to stop the mysterious evil threatening the lands. You’ll be able to explore dungeons filled with more than 270 unique monsters which are catchable – sounds a bit like Nexomon: Extinction in that sense – and these will aid you in battle. These dungeons also bear enough treasure, loot, and rare materials to last a lifetime.
On top of that, it features an impressive 1,400 uniquely drawn items to collect, including more than 300 weapons and 550 armor types and accessories. With so much choice, it won’t be easy to pick and equip your best gear, but once you’re satisfied the journey must continue. Along the way, you can improve your character to become the ultimate warrior; unlocking spells and abilities, fine-tuning your attributes and skills. It’s important to level up your crafting abilities too, such as cooking, weapon smithing, spell-crafting, and more.
Unlike most games, 9th Dawn III caters for the times when a break from the intense action is required. That’s where Fyued comes in play, allowing the adventuring to be put on hold and let’s you take a bit of a breather. It’s a robust card game played throughout the game world which features 180 collectible cards, garnered from the various NPCs found throughout the world.
