Everyones favourite shit claims to have uncovered BF2042 'Battlehub', but he was pretty spot on with the trailer stuff.

- "Ultimate sandbox experience"
- "Will be the 'fun' game mode" - isn't necessarily going to be balanced/competitive/division. Speculates it could have WWII vehicles facing off against modern for instance.
- "Remasters of old maps from old Battlefield titles"
- "Will run on the 2042 engine so previous BF content will run with new movement etc"
- "Specialists in battlehub, no traditional class system"
- "Some remastered maps might not support 128 players (128 on PC and PS5/XSX, 64 previous only)"
- "Battlehub and Hazard zone are separate downloads to save on drive space"
- "Battlehub will update with the battlepass seasons"

Additional
+Hazard Zone will not be battel royale
+Similar to escape from Tarkov
+ He also alluded to Hazard Zone potentially being free to play.

He has said he's not verified this information in his traditional way, so to take it with a pinch of salt. He's not as confident on this information as he hasn't actually seen images, stills, gameplay etc. Source was via email with unverified images.

This has me extremely hyped... I absolutely can't wait to see more!

I've been saying for the last 10 years that Battlefield multiplayer should be its own, separate platform that uses the current engine to play in all eras. Imagine the Battlefield V engine running WW1, WW2, Vietnam/Cold War, Modern and Futuristic eras from one unified hub.

Sounds fantastic. Be nice to get something a little bit different than traditional Multiplayer but with a DICE polish on it.
