I believe Jason said it was a remake. But he could be wrong.

That would be a waste. I can understand the reasoning because of the show but like how much resources are they going to spend on doing all of these remakes and remasters. Like half of their games last gen were that. ( Now if this were Jak and Daxter remake I wouldn't be mad at all about that)

As Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games are the biggest Sony devs they have the most to prove this gen. 5+ years for 1 game is unacceptable IMHO. GG needs to blow us away with their 2nd team FPS....Naughty Dog needs to be working on more than just an MP TLOU, Remake, and TLOU3.

ND IMHO is kind of one of the most talented studios but also most disappointing at the same time.

ND used to be very efficient, they used to have a game out every 2 years but Uncharted 4 in 2016 and Uncharted Lost Legacy in 2017 was still pretty impressive

Industry shifting? As good as ND are that's simply an overstatement. UE5 is industry shifting, it will lead technology in games for years to come.

Yeah, absolutely. Whenever a Naughty Dog game drops, it is always, always a GOTY contender. Most of the time, it also wins. Not to mention, a huge commercial and critical success every single time.

How many developers and studios there are that you can say this about? Probably only Rockstar? Naughty Dog is just in its own league -- a cut above the others.
