Hah! I love how we went from 8-bit indie games to PS2-looking indie games. In ten years I guess indie low-level games will look like PS3 games and people will be like 'Whoa! Looks ancient but I dig the artstyle!!'

The lack of perspective correction really sells the PS1-era look. But yeah, I just remember during the PS3/Xbox 360 era, a lot of the indie games looked the same visually; seemed like no one wanted to do a homage for N64/PS1 style games.
