Valve was about to finish up a Half-Life game in late 2018, canceled it, stripped out as much as they could from it, and made the final version of Half-Life Alyx in less than 18 months. This is the story of that completed, yet unreleased, and now lost Half-Life game.

Everything seen within this report can be found in the public builds of Half-Life Alyx, seen since the release day of the game.

I would love to play HL:Alyx with VR but i don't have one.

Quest 2 is the cheapest and imo best option for entry in VR.

Played Half Life Alyx without wires, with streaming over 5Ghz. Was amazing. Best game I played since the last 10 years, easy.
