Agreed. Bloodborne is the game of the generation on PS4. It's been a long, long time since I played a game that frustrated me so much in the early going. I didn't understand what it was saying to me. I've watched people play souls type games before, but never truly experienced one myself. How it presented itself was so different than anything I had ever played. Almost reminded me of playing some sort of old school Nintendo/Sega/PC game that would leave lots of room for interpretation. The breakthrough came for me once I understood something. This game spoke a language entirely of its own. It made no apologies. You will memorize every inch of this world and approach with caution. Mysterious, yet left enough of a bread crumb trail for you follow. Rare I play something that refuses to hold your hand and respected your intelligence.1. Bloodborne
2. Persona 5
3. God of War
Bloodborne is game of the gen. Persona 5 was one of the biggest and most pleasant surprises I've had this gen, and its converted me to a fan of the series. God of War aping Dark Souls was the best thing the franchise could have done, and the story was fantastic. These are my personal 3.
Hm? It's on the list.
Horizon is no exclusive and the best exclusive game is not in the list: Astro Bot
Weakest Sony gen by far.
I don't feel good picking anything beyond GT Sport and Drive Club, which isn't even on the list.
