Test Drive: Solar Crown will be shown tomorrow

KyoZz

Tag, you're it.
Teaser in now online (and is disappointing)

The trailer showcased a Range Rover SVR and an Aston Martin DB11. We can also see that the casino is back !
This episode will make us find famous brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Koenigsegg, Apollo, Dodge and Bugatti, but we will have to work hard to unlock their best models and their improvements.
And for even more fun, our avatar will also have plenty of customization options, in order to be the most beautiful on the circuit.
The cinematic released today unfortunately do not teach us much more, content to pose the luxurious atmosphere of the experience, and to confirm the presence of the Aston Martin DB11 and the Range Rover Sport.

Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is now confirmed on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and the game gives us an appointment in June for more information.

Simps for Amouranth
TBF I haven't seen anything apart from that UE5 demo that looks like next gen, it's the only thing that's making me not having a ps5 from getting truly pissed off

Please be next gen looking. We're half a year into a generation and I haven't seen any racer that looks and feels next-gen. It's depressing.
Well to be quite honest we still haven't seen any next gen game that would really impressed me graphically(except unreal 5 engine). Even GT 7 doesn't look that impressive considering PS5 beastly specs

I’m somewhat excited. I know it will be a fairly budget game but Unlimited was great and far ahead of its time. Unlimited 2 was bad but still fun as well, so as long as this is fun I’m in.

The biggest worry i have about this game is how the physics and ffb is gonna be.

Of course it doesn't have to be and i dont expect it to be like like assetto corsa/iracing which are heavy full sims but something like GT SPORT which is a light sim would be perfect for this game. Its physics is quite decent and on point(its biggest problems is tyre model which has too much grip).

It's likely going to be a CG trailer. I hope to see some kind of location details and general vibes.

I religiously played TDU1 as a kid, the game blew my mind back then. Sadly, the sequel was kinda shit. Hope this is gonna be better.

i loved TDU. It created the open world racing genre we have today back in 2006.

Forza Horizon is the king now, but still doesn’t do simple shit like being able to lower your convertible roof or windows. They only just added the variety of missions in FH4 like driving a fast car somewhere with no damage. The big Horizon Goliath races take like 9 minutes, TDU took 40 racing around Oahu.

I'm one of those freaks that prefers TDU2 over the first one (Two whole maps!).

Can't wait to see this. Will keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't look bad 🤞

Thx to Reddit user EymanB, we now know that a trailer for TD:SC is coming tomorrow.

Probably the oldest racing game ever, dating back to early 1980's.

The developers worked on the latest WRC games and those seem to be really good. At least, it should be much better physics wise and therefore much more enjoyable than The Crew/NFS.

This could be a surprise hit. And with Horizon 5 not landing this year, there is no real competition. Can't wait for the trailer!

Well from the terrible trailer it looks like the Casino makes a return (I remember it being fairly popular in TDU2) hopefully you can bet your cars as seen in the trailer. Otherwise I hope it's closer to the first than the second.

its a cross gen game. it will look like shit.
Cross gen does not bar it from releasing with fully next gen assets and with regressed visuals on lesser hardware - with that said, we should
expect visuals on par with this for next gen games that take full advantage of the hardware. Whether this is a CGI trailer or a cinematic with game assets, remains to be seen

Most thought the cinematic visuals for the ARK2 trailer were CGI and they were in game assets, and represented the actual gameplay - which I still personally think looks subpar yet still manages to be
superior to most games currently.

Expect games that fully take advantage of the latest PC Hardware to far surpass this cinematic either way; if they ever decide to again finally make a game like that.

As it stands - a game built to take full advantage of next gen consoles from the ground up should have no issues surpassing what is seen here.

Glad to see the game is keeping the "Lifestyle" focus the previous ganes had. All I want from this series is to win races, earn money to buy luxurious apartments and do stuff like cruising around the city as a carefree rich guy. All it needs to complete the experience is VR support.

Well this is a disappointment. This is being published by Nacon so there is no way I will be picking it up.
