Steams tyranny continues. Super Seducer 3 was complely removed from steam. They even censored the game as much as Steam wanted They communicated with Richard that it would either approved or it would be a reasonif not. NOTHiNG did happen insead they removed the WHOLE game from Steam. 61k People who had it on their wish list are gone now.

Sadly no one will talk about it or contact Gabe like it got hisattention wih Hatred but this is utterly ridiculous when this game does not even show nudity while there is also a complete Softcore Erotic FMV thriller on Steam......

Omg. Those absolute bastards! How dare they take our <checks paper> ultimate realistic dating sim where you learn powerful skills for attracting beautiful women. That was like, the ONE game we all really needed!

I am outraged. Gabe, you've gone too far. You will feel my lonely wrath.

As I said before there is a complete Erotic thriller with full nudity on there. This is not a "rule". Also these women are in lingere and even when THIS was censored they said no.
and what game would that be so we can fairly compare them?

is it using REAL people or 3d/2d rendered or drawn people?

I wish we lived in a world where people just raised their kids well so they can interpret the world sensibly without corporations and governments having to protect us from "bad" ideas.

I don't really have much to say about Super Seducer because I don't think its even worthy of having a critical conversation about it, its pretty harmless to me in the grand scheme of things, but this is coming from a critical thinking person... time to fix the source of the problem rather than censor things that clearly don't cause harm.

Its like "cheeky uncle jokes: the game", I can't think of anything less worth getting worked up about. The people attacking this man are as pathetic as they think he is:

I still dont understand whats Steam policy about adult games. Thers porn games on steam with full nudity and uncensored sex scenes like Being a DIK and many others. What makes it ok to some adult games stay on steam and others get delisted and censored?

Tender loving care. And yes it is a fmv with real people it is basically a 90s erotic thriller with nudity and sex. I would post pictures but last tiem someone told me that is not allowed so.. Google tender loving care nudity XD

And again the most nudity you see in suer seducer is women in bras and panties.

this is the first game i've seen that uses real people. it's basically an interactive movie.

all the other porn games are mostly crappy anime, 3d render, or 2d pixel.

Surely there's got to be room for a platform that believes in freedom of expression, kind of like what GoG pretends to be.
Ultimately they could just go to the old ways, self-distribute the game. 'Freedom of association' goes both ways.

I am not excusing Steams lack of coherency in terms of enforcing their policies.

Valve is still privately owned, right? I wonder why Gabe even cares.
What does he have to lose allowing this game on the platform?

Where are the 20 people from the angry Twitter mob going to go? Evil chinese store Epic? Evil Transphobic crunch crusaders GOG?

alright. that sucks to be fair.

well, it's too bad i guess. steam have made the final decision. gonna need to find somewhere else to sell the game.

He did care when Hatred was refused because the "press" made a huge stink about the game. Game would allow this game on steam for sure like he retracted the vverdict on hatred which was establioshed back on Steam.

This makes no difference to me personally because I was never going to play this game (or genre in general) to begin with.

BUT, freedom of expression and all that. The cost of being able to share ideas freely is having to curate what you like, think and allow for yourself. Instead of counting on Steam or the government.

The fuck is this shit :messenger_tears_of_joy: I get those anime dating sims that have an actual story but this game is made for neckbeards to motivate them to never come out of their basements.

Its a weird one, but he is a dating coach outside of this so I think he is trying to say "If you think doing these things in front of women will work then you are an idiot" but also a bit of "people find it funny to see others being very cringey", its a strange game yes lol.

Just from the small amount of interviews I've seen with him, I don't think he is promoting the "stupid choices" you can make in the game, he's probably showing actual scenarios that he's witnessed or heard about from socially inept men who come to him for advice and trying to show you how not appealing the behaviour is, plus also poking fun as well.

So perhaps his heart is in the right place? lol

It is a weird situation with Steam sometimes. There are RPG's on their with full explicit sex, and i dont mean 2D pixel art, i mean 3D graphics.
There were a few articles about Super Seducer 3 recently, maybe the Cancel mob targeted Steam over it.

They're honestly giving their reactions and advice to their own bits in a glorified visual novel title in that setting.

No wonder Incels have it rough. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Seems really unecessary to pull a game like this. Sure it's crap, and the "advice" in it is bullshit, but it's aimed towards adults and rated Mature. Adults can make their own decisions and if they want to buy some shitty dating FMV game they should be able to.

And if they're worried about teens or younger males playing and getting "wrong ideas" about women, then that's what the M rating is for, so parents know what to try and monitor their kids playing. Any parent with half an ounce of common sense could explain to their kid how bullshit pickup artistry is.

Also what about people who get enjoyment out of it ironically? Surely that's part of the audience as well.

Honestly don't care. I would rather not have porn games on the world's biggest pc game distributor. Nothing wrong with nudity in media, but this isn't Metro where a boob pops up this is a full on interactive porno and that's just not needed on steam.

How about let people buy and play what they want. The games are not for me lol, but i'm glad they are there rather than stuff being censored because of the Twitter mob.

There is no consistency in the games they allow on Steam. There are countless actual porn games on Steam but this game isn't allowed. Who makes these decisions at Valve?

I wonder what is the real reason for this, it can't be nudity, there is some really pervy stuff already with even some Illusion games making the cut (Although heavily gimped) and just saw a game called "Futa Fix Dick Dine and Dash" the other day pop up that doesn't seem to have any type of censorship and i bet that you can dig up raunchier stuff.

There are posts in this very thread claiming there is no nudity in this game.

Unless bathsuits and underwear are considered nudity now. That would be some next level puritanism.

The real reason for this (and just about everything really) is jealousy.

people still can, the publisher just needs to self distribute it, it's not like its a new paradigm

Lmao, "Steams tyranny continues", so dramatic.

What's interesting to me is that people were allowed to stream it on Twitch and it "wasn't against TOS", however Steam claims it's not fit for the platform. Which is amusing to me considering how much of a sexual cesspool Steam's library has become. We all knew it would be overflowing with games that are hardly functional. But now it's full of games that are hardly functional and weeb sex games. Which is a shame considering all the good and great stuff gets drowned out.

Not saying Super Seducer 3 is one of those good/great things, I personally don't care for the games. I'm just saying in general, lmao.

Steam is a platform for distributing video games. Frankly I don't consider LN's or dating sims games, nudity or not. I don't think there is any reason to have non-games or porn games on steam. If you want to play some pervy game there are plenty online elsewhere.

This isn't even about porn games, porn games are already available on steam. The restrictions are super arbitrary, you haven indies releasing full porn videogames and then you have a japanese dev like Illusion games having to heavily censor their games or worst, this case, there is no explicit anything afaik and removed all the same.

It's just steam going i don't like that , apparently.

if you broke one of their rules then that's fair enough. find somewhere else to sell it?

they say they don't allow games with explicit images of real people. the game uses footage of real people. that's the problem i suppose.
That's fine and all but they told the guy to expect approval or feedback once he made some necessary changes to the game. Removing his game's page without any notification or reasoning is a pretty shitty move by Steam no matter what their policies say.

"Sexually explicit images of real people" i guess even if the game doesn't have any it's just too close for steam to bother. Funny stuff, but hey, when you have fuck you money and your store is not publicly owned and you have no real competitors in the market, why bother ?
