Blown away this is even a thing. Just file storage. Crazy.

Can I store or play PS5 games from a USB drive?
No, players cannot transfer PS5 games to a USB drive. PS5 games must be stored on the console’s internal ultra-high speed SSD for gameplay. Explorations for allowing players to store (but not play) PS5 games on a USB drive in a future update are underway.

You can, however, store and play PS4 games from a compatible USB drive connected to PS5. For more details, keep reading.

It should have been there from the start, common sense man, basic 2020 feature. PPL need space to move shit around, simple as that.

What? Ran out of time to put this together in the lab or something.

Well, I guess this is not a problem for the first few month. There aren't enough PS5 games out there to fill the SSD. But really ... not good.

So a external SSD for PS4 games should be recommenced to not use the precious internal SSD for this stuff.
