SINoALICE, Square Enix’s upcoming smartphone game led by Yoko Taro, will have an in-game collaboration event with the PlayStation 4 and PC action RPG NieR: Automata, the company announced.

The collaboration event consists of a quest with a dedicated special scenario written by Yoko Taro—a story surrounding the amusement park boss Beauvoir. In this quest, music from NieR: Automata will play, and NieR: Automata characters 2B, 9S, A2, and Emil will appear in addition to NieR: Automata weapons and original Weapon Stories.

SINoAlice is due out as a free-to-play title with in-app item purchases this spring in Japan.

So does this confirm that SinoAlice is apart of Nier's world specifically? or is it just some timespace warping shenanigans(which would still technically make it apart of Drakenier)

It's also the third or fourth collaboration they've done with Automata, which is great. They really should work 2B into Dissidia.

2B and 9S costumes for Lightning and Hope would make a lot of sense - they're essentially an incomparably superior take on their character dynamic, at least on the surface.
