Shinji Hashmoto, who has been the Final Fantasy brand manager for over a decade, is officially retiring from Square Enix today

Yoshichan

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
Although being the ultimate troll of our time, he was an EXCELLENT president and put Square (once again) on the radar after Wada botched the shit out of the franchise.

Take it easy Hashimoto-san.

Finally, let’s see some new talent start to usher in. Within the next 10 years, not just SE but a lot of game companies will be experiencing a massive paradigm shift - with an influx younger, conscious people.

Guy was a producer for more than just a handful of SE big titles though.

Who says new, younger people will be better? Everyone shits on Nomura, but there was a time when he was a younger upstart too.
