Would you still get one/both this early?

Hmm my console started billowing smoke I'll just keep it on

When psu fries like in the clip u can bet the console will turn off but smoke would take time to clear
I'm not convinced. Both clips are short. You can't see the bottom of the Xbox in the first clip. In the second one something appears on the tele. I find it hard believe that someone would identify the smoke from the Xbox, then switch the Xbox off, then begin to film from their phone the smoke, but then something appears on tele. why? because they plugged in their PS, or Switch instead? The Xbox was never on in the first place.

All the rest are plausible. My first XBO needed to be sent back because it wouldnt send a signal to the tele. Though disappointed i sent it back and received another one. No big deal.

its pathetic that those smoking Series Xs are pretty much confirmed fake. FAKE news is such a big problem on twitter and with lack of any respectable journalists it just spreads like wildfire

there are obviously faulty consoles with every launch but clearly the Series X doesnt melt inside lol

I don't buy it for one of the videos either especially as the first doesn't show the bottom of the console but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt.

Dude, it released/people got their consoles yesterday. When did you want it to show?

Again, only appeared after the Ps5 issue. XSX has been in reviewers hands for about 2 months and nothing.

Ps5s been in reviewers hands about 2 weeks and theres a few reports on the storage issues.

Already looks like the guys been outed as a troll with two accounts lol.

Whether or not it's fake, we should all expect a few of the new consoles to fail or have issues here and there. I mean, this is something that has happened with every single gen, especially after PS2 and Xbox.

That's fake Xbox account btw. Here is the official investigation from Xbox PL:

Like I said what smoke goes this slow and who is to say he didn’t have a straw like device pumping smoke in we can’t see from behind the console. It is suspect and why no fire and again why is the smoke so SLOW? 🤣🤣it looks like vape. Why for 2 months this console has been all over the world and not one type of report of this on units that were pre production at that. I don’t care that an account isn’t “official“ and why would you do a few second video on Twitter with a certain angle and just make this claim. Again suspect.

You comparing pre-production, hand-picked XSX to mass produced retail units? That's why PS5 took so long to get into hands because they are retail units. Also let's wait for the official Xbox PL answer for this issue as if he was was lying they'll say it.

That's a very stupid attempt to debunk it, the trail from behind is extremely obvious here. And it's not an official twitter account.
That can easily be faked either way by taking a straw and blowing the vap into the unit and not leaving a trail.
Vap fumes add mostly moisture which is heavier than the surrounding air in most cases and can settle in things , once you turn it on the vap moisture is easily expelled making it look like something is on fire.
Not only that anyone familiar with electrical fire knows the smoke produced is a darker almost blueish color.
Not sure why your pushing for this to be the truth so hard the more I look at it the more I smell BS.

Xbox Poland are investigating it. So until they say it's faked, we should wait and see.

The PS5 one seems minor compared to Series X? Anything that uses silicon is hit or miss as it's still an imperfect process to build.

Edit: This also proves that PS5/XSX were not ready to be released this year.

naw. you will always get a few defects no matter what. iPhone, Android, shoes, tv, and consoles. its the nature of production

Nice, they are reaching out to Xbox officials just to be sued for faking, got it!
You think Xbox officials are actually going to sue a clown for doing retarded shit on the internet, in Poland :messenger_weary: :messenger_ok:
Your reaching for something that isn’t there

I am 24 hours in with two Xbox series X consoles and not that concerned. You can call it hand picked bit MS can’t control what these devices are hooked up to in every location. It could be legitimate and not related to the console but that shady power management Wiring. he doesn’t show the back and with all the vents on the Xbox in the back why is the smoke going straight up and not out the back vents since it isn’t on? How come it is simply rising and no fan on? Smoke should be coming out the back of the console not just up

No fan on so smoke should have came out the back/bottom as well. This is why it’s suspect because it looks directed.

This stuff all came out after the Ps5 dying news.

Xbox has been in reviewers hands a lot longer than Ps5s and no issues were reported till the Ps5 report by ACG.

Considering how much Ps fanboys cry "fud" at anything they don't like, they sure love spreading disingenuous fud about the xbox.

Even more embarrassing is the ones celebrating this, whether fake or real. Its pretty toxic to laugh at other people's misfortunes.

@Bill O'Rights @Soapy Wooder should start holding trolls accountable for toxic shit like this.

There is no way these are all fake, people are still posting on the subreddit showing their console won't power on.

You really need to stop the victim complex, it was all fun and games while you, and the other die hard xbox fans, were posting in the thread dedicated to the ps5 external storage problem. If you're going to give it, you need to be able to take it.

It's a 1-3% rarity problem, no one is suggesting that someone is saying it's common except some rabid fanboys here. I hope you continue to have good experience with it. And if my PS5 is defected, I'll post it here as well.

Devices not powering on is understandable. What can cause the device not to power on? Surges & inadequate power management with wiring. It can be many reasons why any electronic device doesn’t power on including being faulty. I see this everyday in homes for cable boxes and modems that get damaged or killed from surges. Modem is online but WiFi doesn’t work yet Ethernet does and vice versa. Neither work or it’s completely dead.

I understand there will be faulty units for both ps5 and SX, I was simply saying that there is no mass conspiracy, these reports aren't all fake.

Nice try generalizing. Posting in the thread isn't the same as celebrating issues. Funny how you guys cry "fud" over anything but are quick to post anything anti Xbox as gospel lol.

Op is same one who had a meltdown thread over df saying demon souls was 1440p, which was true lol. You guys lack self awareness.

I haven't cried FUD at anything, I have never posted anything about xbox either.
Also, OP is none of my business, he can post/do whatever he wants. I just find your victim complex amusing.

Let me be very clear Bo, electronics fail with bad apples in production yes. But common sense tells to question how is it that the device is not on or was recently on when this occurred yet the smoke is only coming out of a top vent but not the bottom and and back vent? How slow it comes out on top is suspect and the amount would suggest it is actually on fire. none Of what I see in that video clip fits together.

Go outside breath some Egyptian air, ventilate your farts or something, you too invested, too active on these boards 24/7 its not looking too good for you all this shit blowing back up in your face..again n again.

Honestly, we know how much you love, adore and the biggest fan of Xbox, camping outside with a set up tent for early dibs on a Pre-Order. We get that bruh, believe us we do..but relax, deep breaths your Xbox will be flawless with no Vaper installed, I guarantee you..aiight? One 🤜🤛

Snap some picks of your XsX 😉............ok?

Correct but I believe the one with just smoke coming out the top of the XSX is fake because it logically doesn’t make sense that it is powered off with vents on the bottom and back side but the smoke is perfectly releasing out the top. The only way to do that is directing it to go where you want it to go. That amount of smoke but not out the bottom or backside?

I thought in that first video that Bo posted, someone was able to simulate vapor coming out the Console. Oh well, saw the spark and said, nope!

The back and bottom vents are intake vents, it has only one exhaust vent and it's on the top. That way, it makes sense, but we'll see how this story will escalate as XboxPL has acknowledge it and working on it. If they come out and say it fake then it is, if they go radio silent then you know it was legit.

Lol, that volumetric smoke is rendered in real time with the power of 12TFs.
I can see light bouncing in the smoke, most be the equivalent power of 25 TFs.

WHEN POWER IS ON 🤣🤣🤣. This is no different then how a desktop computer brings in air and out. this just proving my point. If the Xbox in that video is off which it is. The fans pull in the air at the bottom and releases out the heat. When it is off the smoke is free to release anywhere since the fans are not directing the flow.

All these systems are under warranty. But as I said before for people worried about the systems bombing later.... Costco it. I am. Game consoles have indefinite return policy as they aren't considered electronics under 90 day limit.

If he just turned it off and the fan is still spin ( little slower off course) , then it will push the smoke through top vent.

Anyway, I don't see a reason why many users on Twitter would show fake faulty hardware. It's not like one or people are doing this.

I mean it's standing tall? Shouldn't smoke go up? Anyway, soon XboxPL should say something debunking it, or go radio silent.
