I did check it out so you don't have to. I don't necessary have any issues with Gen-Z mentality - it doesn't make me mad, triggered or anything, but holy shit, this game is hot pile of excrement. So terrible. Controls suck, graphics kind of suck, it feels like it is written by some stupid interns, because every joke misses and the game itself gives you just about zero motivation to move forward.

I'm not a fan of previous games in the series, but they were so much more enjoyable in that trashy, stupid and self-aware kind of way.

The game is hardly woker than previous titles.

My missus purchased this game and has some how lost or misplaced it (she never got round to unsealing it)

Not generally. I completed Yooka Laylee on a free weekend months after it had left Game Pass, and it never returned.

There's inclusive and then there's this Saints Row where it plays it too safe and is afraid to offend anyone, despite that kind of humour being what SR is known for. FFS changing RimJobs to JimRobs was just the tip of the iceberg of all the PC bullshit they put into it.

This thread clearly exists to dunk on Saints Row, which is fine, but guys don't sleep on For The King. It is a very fun turn-based RPG roguelike with online and offline co-op. I have gotten hours and hours of fun from that one and it is more than worth the hard drive space to give it a try.

I almost bought this for $15 from GameFly.

On a scale 0-10 this is a 5. Not good, not bad, just average. Only managed to get through the opening, 1 side quest, and the 1st story mission. There’s something about the color palette I don’t like. Cars disappeared while driving around. Average shooting. The highlight of my short time with this was giving my female avatar large nipples.

Maybe there’s some fun to be had here but I’m not sticking around to find out.
