Hugh Jackman was a great Wolverine (and he even got better the more time he had with the role) but too bad he was in some somewhat lackluster to downright shitty solo films and X-men movies (X-2 is the only exception since he wasn't in First Class).

Every new rumor about future X-Men films doesn't make me excited about the possibilities like it should but rather it makes me remember all the missed opportunities they've already had and how much I don't want to see more from Fox unless it's Deadpool.

I hope they change that going forward but they've done little to make me think they are. When some 80's inspired X-Men feels like little more than a baby step after having their hands on the franchise for almost 16 years, I think I have a right to be pessimistic.

If Jackman somehow does continue doing the films, I have no idea how they'll handle him trying to bone Sophie Turner who is like, 30 years younger than him.

She could also join the X-force or hangout with with Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
That's not usually how they work, though. If they'd heard about this via that bullshit comicbook post, they'd have sourced back to that, or at least pointed to it as shaky support.

They didn't. Probably because they heard this shit solo and comicbook just snatched up whatever bullshit was available to piggyback. Because they're ass.
Bobby Roberts, you should go into the Internet scoop business :p

Would be cool if X-23 had to fight her brother

I don't understand why all the Wolverines have different claw placement.

Boning women 100 years younger than him is what Wolverine does best.

Daken is Wolverine's son. The X-Gene isn't super consistent between generations. No clue about X-23. Never actually read her origin story.

Would logically follow.

He is 4 years younger than Famke Janssen (X-Men through X-Men 3)
He is 9 years older than Lynn Collins (X-Men Origins)
He is 17 years older than Tao Okamoto (The Wolverine)

Fox going to announce Wolverine 4 where he's dating a fetus.

She's a clone. Making males are problematic but female versions are much easier to do, hence the gender.

Two claws because why not, she has a third on her foot which can be pretty damn useful and creative at times depending on usage.

She was supposed to be a male but the scientist (Dr. Kinney) who carried the child decided to make it a female and thus Laura was tortured her entire childhood in retribution by the powers that be. I believe the foot spike was genetic, not transplanted or anything.

Both NYX and the X-23 origin series are really good and well worth reading.

I think Kaya Scodelario would make a good Laura.

Taskmaster is my top "how the fuck did nobody adapted this character yet"

Also, I am a fan of X-23 on the x-men universe... just be carefull to not get another jenifer lawrence =P

New Mutants is being pitched as a comic movie with a young adult influence (hunger games, divergent etc.). Not interested in that at all but it could be a success if they reach that demo

theres no point to new mutants in the 80s if the apoc team is there. the team in the present timeline makes much more sense.

Xavier and Storm (same actors as Apoc) are going to be in New Mutants, so either that movie is in the 80s or McAvoy and Shipp are going to play 30 years older somehow.

Not that McAvoy hasn't already played Xavier in his 20s, 30s and 40s now...

Some interesting possibilities, here. Especially if they go ahead and kill Logan, and have him pass the name onto Laura, which allows Fox to keep making Wolverine movies, turning the character into a legacy character for another 10 or so years

This would be seriously amazing, especially if she takes on the name Wolverine.

I'm picturing a Casino Royale-style ending in which she is asked whom she is, and she bluntly answers: "The Wolverine". Cut to black.
