quke + wolfenstein + doom shaped me as a gamer in early 1990, since then FPS was always my favourite genre in games. Would love to see a proper quake reboot.

Really hope the multiplayer has some sort of continuity from Quake Champions, still play that and has some very good maps and art.

It's a shame that game died on its arse as it does stand amongst the best in the genre when it comes to weapon and character designs. Truly quality stuff, especially all of the alternate skins they put out over time.

Quake on idTech7, that would be sweet. But as already pointed out, what would differentiate from Doom, gameplay-wise? Just different guns, enemies and scenery wouldn't cut it.

Everything that was once popular comes back again. The battle royale burnout is real and games like Halo Infinite and Splitgate will help introduce a new generation to arena shooters. Quake would fit right in. There's an odd rumor floating around about a Quake movie as well which seems bizarre to me, but its out there.

I'd be happy with console remasters of the single player games and perhaps a few years ago I'd have been really exited about a new Quake but I do feel now that the modern Doom games have taken care of my Quake needs.
