According to a new financial report from Sega Sammy, total registered users for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis have exceeded 9 million worldwide. Additionally, the financial report reveals the top performing titles for Sega Sammy. This includes Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku. In addition to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis having over 9 million registered users worldwide, the title has achieved cumulative sales of 100.0 billion yen. Sega Sammy states that the title is currently performing strongly. The title released globally in June 2021.

Congrats to Sega. I was worried this might flop like Phantasy Star Universe because the launch was a little rough, but its good to hear that its currently performing strongly.

It's a good game and getting in on the ground floor instead of 5 years later with tons of systems thrown at you at once instead of slowly being introduced certainly helps with Accessibility.

Warframe and PS02 are near impossible to understand out of the gate without a wiki.
