I was turned away from Walmart because they said "Sony insisted on using Online ONLY" to sell the things. Dunno how accurate that is, but I was like.. OK? And walked off. Not much else I could do. Maybe rage and break a bunch of TVs out of frustration? Lol.

I secured mine on Monday evening from Walmart walk in here in central FL after months of failing to get a pre order or anything... happened to at the dentist and a wal mart was a mile away.

No stock on brickseek when I went in to dentist, stock when I left... just swooped in waited an hour and got one. Actually walked in morning of nov 10 and got a series x from the same wal mart on launch day too. Wal mart has been good this gem.

That’s better organized than my Walmart. Like 60 people in line, yet no one would confirm how many consoles they had in stock so most of those people in line were probably there for nothing. Wouldn’t you want to tell the exact number of units in stock so you could reduce the line and avoid added frustration?

Yeah, after my PS5 was mysteriously lost or most likely stolen by FedEX, I much rather just pick it up at the store.

That’s not how it goes down though, that’s why they got Brickseek to remove the listings, that’s why popfinder had to literally put up a banner for people to stop being rude to employees (Target I guess) and why WM went back to online only.

If you're waiting in que for Sony the best thing you can do is find the DIRECT link to the PS5 you want, most likely the disc model, clear your browser cache/history/cookies and then reload your browser. After reopening paste the link, press the ESC key repeatedly and from then on you have a limited amount of time till the cue catches what you're doing (1-2 minutes, have your browser save your login) and puts you back in line. But you if you manage too add it to your cart and checkout, congrats, you've secured a PS5 directly from Sony.

It said coming soon then refreshed at 9am to add to cart. I tried to add it for like 15 minutes but kept getting 1 of 2 error messages. Then I switched to Century 3 which is closer to me. Coming soon. Back to North Hills. Add to cart. Tried all various areas around me. Back to it. Tried adding repeatedly again... error messages. I have been going back and forth to North Hills here and there and it has been add to cart.

It went to coming soon while trying to figure out how to screenshot it after your posts. (Print screen apparently doesn't work?). Then, I switched off to century 3. Switched back to North Hills and Add to cart again.

So, idk.
