The same joysticks are used in Xbox and Nintendo controllers as well. So the 417-hour lifespan applies to all of them.

I reckon this will cut down the number of 'concerned' comments significantly.

I used my PS4 controller for 1000+ hours and it still works fine.

(using PS4 as an example so the console warriors don't accuse me of an agenda)
