Price, while certainly significant, is only one issue of several that I mentioned. Also, I don't buy Apple products because I think they're incredibly overpriced. I tend not to spend more on a brand just because it's trendy or popular. I do my research and spend money on the thing that gives me what I want in terms of features while also providing the best value for my money. And PS5 Pro ain't it.

It's better than not hitting the target, you can take a 40-60 and use the X2 mode to smooth out all the stuttering from the framerate, but you do need to have that 30-40fps minimum or it falls apart. At least on a handheld the artifacts and input lag aren't as noticeable, though it depends on the game too. At worst you can use it for a smoother framerate while having longer battery life.

Reality remains that some people are willing to pay a lot of money for their toys, be it a $2k GPU that they don't really need, or spending a fortune on cosmetics for their GaaS of choice. In the context of that, a moderately more expensive console seems like a complete and utter nothing-burger to me.

That's fine, it's my personal opinion. There's just no current Apple feature that would compel me to buy an iPhone over an Android. I'm not invested in Apple's walled garden, and they haven't won me over with any proprietary features, so it's a pretty easy choice.

Not saying that at all. Sony has had their share of blunders, but the opposition is worse. At the end of the day, people that want a "premiere" console are stuck with two options. Not 100% of PlayStation players are happy with this gen for PS5, but the alternative is Xbox. Additionally for many, they have their digital library in the PlayStation ecosystem.

As expected. Ps5 pro is not for everyone, and not intended to be, and we are not being force to upgrade. Ps5 OG is still a very good piece of equipment. I think Sony will be happy even with just 5% of the 60 millions will upgrade to ps5 pro. But I'm already happy with my ps5 slim, but to be honest, ps5 pro is growing in me

This is an odd stance and will probably not go over well with a lot of veteran PS fans here who pride on stats like a higher majority of Sony first party games selling more on physical, as opposed to what happens in most third party cases.
