After Tiger got caught being an imperfect human being EA dropped him and sales tanked.

I knew sales were down. I didn't realize they scrapped the franchise entirely.

Still too difficult for a golf game IMO. I watched a couple gameplay videos and its the same thing as The Golf Club.

Since it's 30 degrees and dark when I get home, I need a golf game to treat my SAD.

These early impressions were good, is it still holding up?

IMO, TW 2005 was prime golf gaming.

It sometimes bordered on the utterly ridiculous, and I absolutely love it.

Breakdancing and body popping after a birdie, snapping it in half if you miss, one handed golf swings, running up to the tee to smash the ball, the sounds of wolves growling because you hit the ball so hard that it shows the shot in slow motion or repeat's it 6 or 7 times. And don't forget golfing against Justin Timberlake as 'The Hustler' during the Legends Tour.

I find there are a lot more golf purists who want to play games now.

I'm no purist and I certainly don't watch all the events on TV. But I had a tremendous fun on the old ones.
I don't get that same feeling playing Golf Club games. Just not the same.
